@Roland, thank you for addressing my concern. I even found my password and logged in on my mobile just to say that, so it means a lot.
I've been reading this forum almost daily for 5 months, but there are times when it's just not possible due to RL constraints. I went to check everything and it was just frustrating and confusing. Anyway, I won't dwell on this any further and will just again thank you for copying instead of moving.

Hey, I know a lot of people complain and moan about how it's taking so long. Just know that many of us are patiently waiting. We know you guys are working hard and we know that we're going to experience this in a whole new way. I'm perfectly fine waiting until the time you guys feel it's ready for us. Don't get me wrong, I want it badly too. But I don't think angrily going after the people who make the game is worth it. Have faith, everyone. This is my favourite game since Mass Effect. And I've had nothing but good times in this game. I'd rather wait and have it done right than a game that is EA quality release.

TFP, y'all working hard and we appreciate your work. You keep doing you. BUUUUUUUT, if you want to tease us, don't let me stop y'all XD

Also, for anyone playing "The Game"... You just lost the game.

C'mon man, be cool... :)

I do wonder if it is customary to play elevator music during elevator pitches.

 
Well, i guess their first release estimate was right after all. a17e will be be ready in june. They never said it would be june 2018....

 
So you think all they have done in the ENTIRE A17 dev cycle is bug fix. No work on new features, new artwork? Nothing but bug fixes? Lol

actually due to a paradox event... that is what's happening... the devs added all new stuff in A18 and now in A17 we have to test it.

this is why it's difficult... the bugs are from the future and know how to avoid being fixed. just about all of the tfp staff is getting bald yanking their hair out. :)

A17 is going to be amazing. Some of the polishing up and refining of some of the features that just happened this week are complete game changers. The game may feel dead to a lot of people but we should codename this release as The Phoenix because once people watch the streamers and then get their hands on it and word gets out I have no doubt 7 Days will rise again higher than ever before. I just hope all of you who are naysaying and preaching doom will be glad to be wrong.

I’ll try switching to copying stuff over instead of moving. I just figured it was the once-a-weekers that were the ones complaining. If you are reading daily there should be zero difference. Everything up until 3 days ago is still in this thread. That quote from Madmole on the photos is from his twitter so the arrows don’t match up with anything. Sorry.

There are no official release dates. I tell the streamers it won’t be the next couple of weeks so they can plan for other content in case they’re not currently doing 7 Days to Die (you know, with it being dead and all). If they choose to “leak” that out then that creates unofficial reports of when it won’t be coming which is fine. I fine telling you it won’t be today nor next weekend either.

TFP does have an internal release date they are aiming for but I ain’t saying when that is. You could send me a million dollars and I would tell you in a second. But other than that know that it is for sure coming and it will be worth it and to survive you will have to rethink, restrategize, and adapt from what you previously knew. Soon you will be back at a fresh Day 1 and it’s going to be fantastic.

Wait! What? As someone who only has ~3800 hours in - and have been waiting LITERALLY forever for a freakin update - how the heck do I get my $8 back?!!! TFP - YOU OWE ME!!!! And even if you DO, as an investor, you STILL OWE me!

hey! im starting to lose my hype.... :p it says *we will release when the bugs are fixed*

@Roland, is it possible to list the bugs for us(if too many, only Major ones) and scratch them off the list as they get fixed?

so we can keep more track on the games progress :)

i wondered why they do not do it like subnautica? they have/had a real development diary with TODO list, the bugs listed, what they are currently working on etc.
