when i was 13y young, i was herding cattle. i had canned food, but i forgot knife. so i rubbed can on to rock, until first layer metal was worn, then just pressed in lid and ate it with fingers.english is not my first language, but i hope, you understand, what i say :)
Your location says "Ireland." You mean that Gaelic is still a first language for some people? If not that, then what? (I've known a fair amount of Irish people, but aside from having incredibly thick accents, they still spoke what would pass as English.)

The female version won't really work until they get Smell working in-game. As for the male version, what is the effect of the debuff or is the big bat identical in damage to fists?
Maybe female zombies are not impressed with the male character's melee strikes, so there's a chance to miss or a damage reduction. Maybe every time the male character encounters a zombie, he has to pause for a couple seconds to explain that "he was in the pool."

I totally understand. where there's a will there's a way. :02.47-tranquillity:

@Gazz "If we let female characters start with The Purse, males will all claim to be gay and demand a man purse. =P"

Don't scoff too much. Actors have been doing that for a 15% + pay increase for some time now:greedy_dollars:

Right. Because no one EVER emigrates to Ireland...

A "smiley face" bug that's pregnant is not a good sign. but the first bug is now sick and will soon join 2 and 3 hopefully.

TFP would have to do some serious magic to kill all the bugs in one week.

But, you never know.

Have the devs mentioned anything about sleeper spawn fixes? Sleepers disappearing on approach, respawning instantly upon leaving a building, room or even in the same room with you, and all of this happening inconsistently and with no discernible pattern, is the biggest and honestly only really major flaw IMO after ~40 hours with my buddy in current ver (except maybe the new level designers' need to add trick floors with leg-breaking falls into every dungeon).

I'm really hoping it's addressed for A17, as it already makes skyscrapers a nightmare, and I really want to enjoy this new slew of top tier minidungeons without this bug screwing me over and killing the mood.

Probably no.Probably yes.

Not determined yet.

Not currently.

Vehicle storage is still in development. A17e may not have it. A17 hopefully will.

What's the problem with vehicle storage? Dont wanna be somehow impolite, but i think it could be done by copying script from old minibike right??

speaking of gyro-copter can you confirm or deny if tracks and train carts are in the works?

the only reason i ask is because that would make a GIANT difference to mining large quarries. and you could cart your ore back to a close mining settlement en mass. which would save a lot of time going back and forth to a mine that might be far away

@Sy Tarn I like that idea. But unless it's on SP or a Friendly CO/OP how would you secure it. As many posts as iv'e read about moletrolls.

The picture that comes in my head is, you've just scored a resource goldmine, are returning to home station, only to have someone Butch Cassidy you, and build a shack full of dynamite on the track. or dig a pit under the track and replace the dirt with wood frames.

The minibike uses the loot list for the shopping basket as it's "storage".

If you poke in loot.xml and find it, you can totally increase it. :) So they can't just use that script for the truck.

Damage values aside, how would people feel about a .50cal sniper rifle with a range of 100-120m? (whatever it is right now)How would that make any kind of sense?

It's already a stretch with the current rifles in the game and if you wanted to render the required voxel world up to say 400m, you'd get 1/16th of the FPS.

So below 4 FPS if you would normally have 60.
Would that still happen if the render distance was only extended when looking through the scope?

Only a small amount of things would be getting rendered?

Idk the mechanics of what isn't rendered to save resources.

With my limited knowledge of code, it still seems to me, that this solution will cause inexpedient delays when you zoom in/out.

Since the engine has to switch between render distances, it will need "load time" which gets worse, the larger the difference.

Perhaps some kind of buffer for the distance could work, but it would need to be constantly updated, which may result in a general increased load. Thereby cutting your general draw distance down.

And then theres the hours and hours of coding... I say nuts to that! I wanna play now ;)

You're wrong man.
It's close to 15 months ago since A16E was released. So 1.25 years instead of 1 year.
Ninja_Freak said, "Near enough 12 months for a game update." For the record, Ninja_Freak is closer to the actual figure. 16.0 through 16.4 were all game updates, the last of which was released over 10 months ago on 10/26/18.

Those [millions of silent customers who just played the game solo 2-20 hours) are quitters that didn't like the game. Yes, they paid for it.... but they're not playing it.
You think so? Just how high do you want to set that bar for a satisfied customer? 100 hours? 1000 hours? How does that compare to the playtime of a typical Steam game? Or even a typical highly-rated Steam game?

And here on the other side...

Regardless of what stats you choose to look at, most of those who choose to stop playing are those who feel they are entitled to something they aren't.
You purport to know how most of these players feel? How do you justify such a broad-reaching claim?
