I wouldn't take Ouch Quit It too seriously on this. I would like to think he doesn't really feel that way as much as he was making a silly remark based on the suggestion for someone to remain single. I haven't got to talk to you before though. How are you doing? :) What brings you here tonight? I hope your day was awesome! What sort of things are you looking forward to in A17?

Because jumping is more fun. Only jumping and sleeping in A17. If you jump a thousand times, we give you a shovel, so you can dig to the center of the Earth. Once there the planet explodes and game over. The best end game content ever.

Procedurally generated towns... eventual results written (block by block) to a file....Roads... have the same data storage problems as buildings.

...The terrain in Nave... still needs to generate individual blocks at runtime...
All right, so "pre-generated RWG" really only means pre-generating the 'heavy' parts. The rest, getting down to the block-by-block level, is still computed at runtime in both RWG and Navezgane. And despite that remaining runtime load, this change purports to be enough to eliminate the stuttering issues. I hope I've got it right now; thanks for explaining.

 
Well what I wish for and what actually happens is two different things. I wish there was a point where I would eventually die. However, right now if you can survive to max game stage, it really doesn't get any harder and you can go on forever - then its gets boring knowing that you will never die. So, right now I usually give up once the its stops getting harder to survive.. and infact easier.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying im amazing at the game, im saying anyone can survive for infinity if you can survive until the max game stage occurs. I wish death was eventually unavoidable no matter how good you are.
Well, I believe most would say A16 is too easy as well. Hopefully, Gazz will make a "nightmare" difficulty level where death is inevitable in A17.

I'm guessing a never ending night horde at the highest game stage would do it in A17. A16 is just... no.

 
Punching is good. But if you combine that with charging, you can get a lot more blows with minimal risk. Also works with weapons.
Now if you stun them or they go down. Go in and pummel them!
For A17, a Melee "dance" and point blank bow shooting (don't know if x-bow bolts are recoverable) might be my shtick for A17.

Does 7DTD still have (and plan on keeping) decapitation and dismemberment? I didn't see any in the latest video. Sorry if this question has been asked and answered. I come here often to read the forums and check in on the games progress.... but never post. Thank you in advance for your response.

 
The jeep can currently carry two people. A driver and a passenger.
However, the passenger will experience horrible de-sync issues and often be in the jeep, next to the jeep, trailing behind the jeep, and it is such a bad buggy jittery mess that after trying it once "just to see" you will just wait until faatal fixes it. He is hoping to fix it by a 17.x update if possible.

So really just a driver for now.
I dont understand why games like PUBG can do multiple passengers but 7d de-sync cant be figured out ?

No worries, it does have it. It will still do it. The poor Joelercoaster just wasn't lucky enough to land the right shot to make it happen on video. :)

Its a different engine and needs different things. They will fix it, but its not done at this moment.

Because they use two completely different game engines probably? It's not a matter of figuring out as much as it's a matter of Unity3D supporting it, so if PUBG uses something else, then that'd probably be why.
