But lets do something funny, shall we? I'll change the smilies and watch as people think there's something significant to that as they notice..heheh
I had assumed that you were already doing this! :02.47-tranquillity:

Went back a few pages. Didn't find skullpokers original post...
I'm confused :)
You know that you can click on the little blue arrows beside the "Originally posted by ..." to go back to the original post?

Good afternoon people. I've been thinking these days ... and as I see that you talk about everything a little (sometimes silly things sometimes serious things) jejejeje :fat: I dare to ask a question:Does anyone know if it is possible via XML to place the need for a tool on the crafting of the backpack just like some recipes need the pot at the campfire?

I have thought for my mod, that some recipes require tools to make them in the backpack, such as clothes, or wood frames, and other more complex in the work table, I do not like the idea of for example, manufacture an axe in the hand, without tools with wood and iron ... or a piece of furniture with wood and nails but without a hammer ... I know it's just a game, but I wanted to put my grain of sand to realism

sorry if my english is bad :p
First, Probably. Some mods like Ravenhearst make crafting a much more complicated affair. Perhaps you should talk to Jax Teller, certainly after the release starts dropping.

As for making an axe in the wild. - You do realize that you can pound iron to shape with a rock, or a rock and a campfire, and then use the rock to sharpen the thing right? Camp forging is a real thing, and you don't need much to do it. It's not the greatest but it works in a pinch.

As for the furniture, if you have the nails, and you have the wood, you can drive the nails with just about anything, including a rock. There's no point in making a player fish for rocks to make furniture. It's assumed that they have a stone axe (which can serve as a hammer depending on how it's made), or better tools. And usually they have stones in their inventory. So why bother with an extra layer of hassle on something that simple?

Though perhaps you could provide a mod that makes it *easier* and/or better/higher quality items based on the tools aperson is carrying on them (without consuming the tools).

i think i use bad examples XDDD you are right, i was thinking in a stone axe, for frame, forniture crafting,tools...and needle, scissors and thread for clothes (1 item slot).

First i think what do you say, "based on the tools aperson is carrying on them (without consuming the tools)" but i dont know how to do, and i think it's easier put a 3 slot grid (like campfire) and put in there the tools...

thanks !

One thing crossed my mind..
Creating world and playing will be aside thing now.

If i create a world, play it with an char and decide to create a new char, the alterations of the first will remain in the world? (Loot in containers, etc..)

I can change worlds (in single player) and remain with the same char? (with same skills, level, etc..)

:kiwi-fruit: :smile-new: :smokin:
No. It works exactly like Navezgane does now.

A green smiley face!?! Green means GO! We're rolling live folks!!
congrats you are fallen prey to trolland smile traps .heheheheh

i am also a prey , just started a world with my brother to waste some time till A17 drops , the hype killing both of us

EDIT :Roland , if i play dead is dead ,will my chances == or != A16 ;)

What about if I tear down a POI, will I still see it from a distance, only to have it vanish as I get closer? Sorry if this has been addressed already, I'm trying to keep up with the comments! :D

Reflection quality settings got an overhaul today and I added Middle and Ultra quality.

'Off' now actually does a simple 3 FPS skybox render at a low intensity, otherwise the world was darker with the new shaders trying to use a black reflection cube. Water looked like gray sludge.

yep. No progress on changes to the world showing up in distant terrain. Sorry.

But at least there are trees now. :)

@Faatal o @Roland guys, I want to ask you a question, I think I did not read it anywhere, since we saw a great improvement in the mele weapons system, will we have more mele weapons in the game?

thank you very much Faatal, these things are appreciated and applauded

After all those delays, I expect a17 to be stable when it came out. I am not saying economic might be correct and may need adjustment, but there shouldn't be bugs like there were in a16. It should be more stable in comparison, Else why they took so long to test and rebuild things.
That is not how it works. Generally the more changes, the more bugs. We didn't stop months ago and fix all the bugs. Many features are still being developed. Experimental will be the time to test and fix bugs. There will be plenty of bugs.

Great, is it in some distant future to include a baseball bat? since we have baseball accessories that would be great, it would also be nice to include homemade swords and axes

Hey, thanks for saving us some...
