I thought the point of Beta was to let me play and report bugs. not watch the so called progress of what I am supposed to be beta testing. question have they fixed the water problem of even considered it. this seems like the issues they should be working on and let me play and report issues. just think of how much more would get done if they listened to the players. to tell you the truth i haven't played in months. ready to move on and accept that i just gave my money away. thanks for nothing new and nothing new in the future. beta my ass they will fix what they want and release what they want.
What game are you playing the Beta of? And why are you posting about that game in 7 Days to Die forums?

I don't get it either. As a german, I clearly understand what is being said in the Movie. You have to pay attention to the Subtitles. Some People think, that it is funny using this disgusting Example of Humanity in Memes. In my sole Opinion, this Topic is too serious to be boiled down to a Joke. But thats just me.
On the Sidenote, in aticipation for A17E I am already reworking my Defences on Paper. Kinda good to get a little more preperation Time. Like the 7th Day horde had a Major Detour. I imagine A17 coming for me even stronger.
Seriously ridicule is one of the best ways to handle populists who's influence comes from manipulating emotions. You often can't fight their followers with arguments.

I'm afraid I have horrible news to report...

...madmoles beard had a horrible accident with electric hedge trimmers...

Naturally the trimmers are destroyed, but the important part is that beard hair #462578 and #462579 were damaged...

Not beyond repair of course, but they took the brunt of the steel blades so were actually bent, almost a full 30 degrees...

So, a17 is held up until the nanomachines can finish repairs.

Should take an additional 4 hours.

Sorry guys.

Commenting on your side note. I generally don't make changes to my defenses until I see the attack in action. So I can see there tactics and look for weaknesses.

Thanks for the update.

hey Roland, I've got an idea for NPCs in A18. What if a player had some kind of reputation? They would be able to raise it by killing bandits, trading with White River and completing their quests. If player kill survivors, reputation would drop. when it decreases to some level (for example -20), bandits become passive to player and he/she can trade with them and complete their quests (drops reputation even more), whereas White River becomes aggressive to player. I thought it would be cool if you could chose which fraction you want to help.
This sounds cool, but we also need a zombie faction. Either some type of group that tries to control zombies through leashes, implanted chips, chemical hypnosis (why not), or by breeding with them and making some type of hybrid.

Or something, I dunno. But we need a survivor faction, a bandit faction, and a zombie faction. Maybe the zombie faction can be the aliens that created the virus, or it could be Higashi since they were experimenting on them.

Tell us the truth Guppy, what have you done ?

Humour is often used as a way to talk about unpleasant things. This is essential in society as that which isn't talked about is often forgotten and that which has been forgotten is often repeated.
"We should talk about unpleasant things, not talking about unpleasant things is what allowed the BBC to hide a child abuse scandal for thirty years"

Exactly, making jokes about something horrible isn't trying to diminish what was horrible.. but making it easier to talk about.

Also, Downfall was a pretty powerful movie... and that scene that MM uses was one of my fav. scenes

I said the "worst examples of humanity for their respective era". It's not my opinion but that of the ancient scholars around at the time. Until Caligula the most referenced evil person in ancient literature was Tutenkhamun. Stalin, and indeed the USSR, were a long way in future at that point.
If you go by percentage of global population killed then Genghis Khan wins by a long shot. The only reason he didn't kill more people is that there weren't enough people around for him to kill.
What did Tutankhamun do to make your list, I always thought he was a bit insignificant as pharaohs went. His only real claim to fame was having an intact tomb.

Dammit! You're right, well spotted. I was of course thinking of Ramses and the whole "Exodus" thing.

That's what I get for writing something on the internet without googling every single frikkin' detail.

He was responsible for really bad dancing in the eighties.

Tutankhamun took Gronk's mother out to a nice seafood dinner and never called her back again

I miss the indie time... Less angry idiots, more screwy dev comments :) .
Ahh well, everything evolves I guess...
Yup. Except your avatar is still an ugly duckling, when will is become a swan?

While I've gone from Bear, to Blimp, to Batman. I'll need another B avatar soon.

Been following this thread for a while now, scrolling through the friendly banter and demands and insults looking for news. I haven't found anything on the state of the water in the upcoming A17 release. There has been some news on water reflection and such but nothing that I can find about flowing water. Has any work been done on this or are we still dealing with jello that has a 3 block flow range?
