the releasing of A17-E will such a good thing for fixing bugs and finding glitches the more people finding bugs the more bugs can be fixed faster

i agree that TFP should have all the time to shine it and make it perfect but i think we ve already done that

A17 is such a great update that can bring a lot of people to play it and enjoy it the way we do

i hope it will be optimized and not using a a lot of RAM like this current build

every one in the forums wish that 7D2D will reach the glory that meant for her

Good job TFP and thanks to all the Mods and the great community and communication

i have a question about the new skill system

i think i read some where that every one will have a specific skill choosing like :

builder...crafter...healer

is that true ?

That would be awesome!. I'd love to RP more in 7 Days!

No. But you can select perks and skills in a way that would allow you to develop into a master builder, crafter, healer, etc.

In all honesty I would rather wait for a17 and have multi person transport for the MOLE than to have it released without it.

One of my biggest frustrations is when your friends join the game and they try to get to your base and they repeatedly die. Being able to go and pick up your friends goes a long way to minimize frustration for new players.

ohh thank you ronald because i was kind of afraid for the single players
I think that is one thing you should never have to worry about. Unless they get some big change of heart or something based on what I have gathered over the time I lurked around before actually joining the forums till now the goal of the game was to be more of a single player/ co op game play first and multiplayer 2nd. But I have been wrong in the past so.... lol

Hi, guys.
Does somebody knows if there are plans to make discovered map places shared between allies?

I mean if players are allies, it makes sense that in your team every one can see places where other team members has been.
Do you mean being able to share maps, or mark a location on the map and share it?

If it's the latter, you can already do that, IIRC. It's called Shared Waypoints.

Guys, I think we should realy step away from "It's coming definitly end of July/ beginning of August". It will be ready when it's done.
Some of you remind me of a wolfpack waiting for a Piece of Meat to be trown at them. What if the Meat isn't what you expected? You'll be howling. I'd rather have TFP make it good, than rush it out. Or in my Case - bake a nice Pecan pie. :)
Says the crazy girl with the silly expression. ;)

Yeah, there might also be a perk that allows a fist to punch you, like in your avatar. Right Roland???

But that would be silly wouldn't it? lol

Now were is the Joker? :)

While not having a multi passenger vehicle is annoying running a ways on day one is not very dangerous unless you aren't paying attention other wise you will be fine and it's a good thing because you develop the necessary skills to skill up specialization skills.

No. When you start game, map is just grey. When you walk, you discover map and later you can see buildings, biome e.t.c. What i would like is that in your map you can see everything what your team has seen.

I bet they are already using a management tool that schedules tasks and programmers..
JIRA. Most tasks and bug reports go through there. Scheduling is more up to what a person deems important or makes sense or is causing problems right now.

This would be a nice feature. A couple times I've attempted to share the location of a trader with my teammate, only to have it be still covered by the fog of war for him. The waypoint was a little glitchy because of that, and I wound up having to watch his marker on my map and give him directions--"okay, go southeast ... bend a little to the south ... cross that river".

I heard some lighting work is being done :)
Did you hear that?

We have been telling each other that on several occasions this month, so naturally the artists around here like to gush about it.

So mouse over the trader and feed them the coordinates? You have coordinates for your current position, as well as where your mouse cursor is resting in the map. And tell them that the hub or center of the map is 0.0. - Might help them out. All they have to do is play a matching game and match the numbers you feed them.

Though it would be nice if we could shoot a bearing/heading for them. Such as "Make your heading 282 degrees and travel in a straight line. Five kilometers. Shouldn't miss it." They might actually learn something about real over-land navigation.

Also handrails. "If you run into the river you went too far north. If you hit the snow biome you went too far south. If you hit the desert you are way off to the east."

Know what would be a good surprise this alpha. Hub city being back!
Nah. It's better being gone. Makes people actually explore the map outside of the hub.

It still does have a chance to spawn at 0,0, just not 100% like it was.
