That quote from Roland doesn't tell us what quests can do in a17, just what quests will do. That doesn't help modders to know what they will be able to do with quests. You can already do more with quests than what the game currently implements, and I expect those possibilities will keep expanding.

You're asking about experimental and untested features in an alpha that hasn't been released yet? Were you really expecting an answer?

Those 3 mentioned quest-types do seem to be rather.. dull, imho. I'm afraid it will create tedium rather quickly.
This is the entire point of alpha... get basic systems working that can be expanded upon during beta.

No point doing loads of work on a system that's fundamentally flawed. It's better to get a basic system working with the framework, throughly test it, and then add extra features on top.

odd, looking at xml code leads me to think it was once a day never really paid attention in game

 
Not for A17, but there's a rumour that for A18 they'll be changed to zombie corgis.
Corgis? Figured QE2 would have been spirited away to a safe place at the first sign of trouble. I guess not.

bet you didnt graduate from the class called "you may play a17 now" did you? thats what i thought... re-enroll into the correct class and try again. :) yes i had to do it.

It's hard coded. You'd need to dive deeper in the code to change it.

I don't understand some of you guys... MM already told us flat out that they're looking at a Gaia like approach to Rwg, so either they are and it's not ready, or they're not anymore because it didn't work out, but the net effect is they are definitely interested in Rwg.
I am decently happy with RWG atm, will be even moreso in A17 with even more Poi's around. I do feel RWG is the future of the game though, as to me Navezgane is kinda boring when you know where everything is, as with any survival game with a static map, the first time thru its magic, but second time and up? it loses most of it as you know what to expect. This is why I am staying out of Navezgane till the story and such comes together, this way it'll be mostly a new experence for me. I've pretty much only played serious games in RWG. I use Navez if I wanna test something as its been said it loads really fast. Think I went to day 4 or 5 at most in Navezgane and most of that time was spent running around trying to find another trader as I didn't know where they were other than the one the intro quest leads you to.

 
Weird I just got a notification from steam that a new A17 video was out but it links to an old video from June 24th what the heck?
