I love skyrim myself but you may be playing a different game to me.Well, here is what I know:1) Real, big-budget games don't have early access, and they put their products out fast and complete.
2) Skyrim is an awesome game which has quests and building and fighting and story. If Bethesda can put out a great game like that, then this should be no problem.
3) I want swords in this game. Skyrim has swords. Guppy's Medieval mod has swords. If they can do those things, then the vanilla game should have swords too. The devs told us that there would be new weapons, so there should be swords.
I'm never playing 7dtd again.
Skyrim development time 2006-2011 with the main game engine being largely complete already, Bethesda use the same engine they always have since Morrowind with bugfixes and updates. Five years to complete a game using a team of one hundred people when the main engine is largely built is not fast.
Bethesda has said there are bugs in skyrim that will never be fixed, is it complete? No.
Skyrim has a decent building system? No.
The difference between a machete and a short sword is largely semantic.
