I'll start making 30,000 buckets now, you hack A17 and get that magma in there! Someone get the beer cuz' we gona' have a real Texas barbecue! (Well, standards would be lowered a tad, cus of the Apocalypse and all... BUT WE GOT BEER!)But you would need a lot of buckets to transport all the lava!
Rebuttal accepted, however that music wouldn't tell you how many days you had to safely rebuild your base or explore until the blood moon rolled around again. Hence you could have plans to go exploring for the next town to raid and get caught far from home, or you could have a need for resources to rebuild with that forced you to go harvest. The idea is that it would add an element of unpredictability that would make staying out late far from your base a bit riskier, at least w/o a vehicle.Except the music that alerts you to the blood moon event happens lol and then your not so unknown lol.....
I have been around since A5.2 when the game was a minecraft clone. According to the devs ( not going to dig all day for a quote here) gamepeia has it right. wikipedia is too easy for the masses to edit, and is not an absolute source.<snipped>cant win for losing but most of us were there... and when the game was cooking.. the biggest threat was finding a cure for the infection.![]()
My thought was similar in that you need to take one antibiotic each day for 7 days to cure the infection. Honey will stabilize you for a day but doesn't cure you. If you miss a day (without an antibiotic or honey), you need to start over again.lol, ok, so you start the day off as infected, you have 7 days to die. you find some honey, but it doesn't heal you, it pushes the counter back a day or so.
In my opinion, this is one of the best ideas I've read on this thread.Instead of bigger backpacks, how about making grocery carts pushable. Load it up and push it through the streets. It could make a ton of noise as well, causing nearby zeds to notice. Would be a great early game tool until a vehicle is crafted.
+1 to this. I always have an abundance of antibiotics after the first week or two. If you needed to take a seven day course to get cured you'd always need to search for more.My thought was similar in that you need to take one antibiotic each day for 7 days to cure the infection. Cats just know how to make people feel insignificant....I think cats are awesome. You never know how they’re going to ignore you next.
I like the shopping cart idea too. It would have to be loud enough to wake sleepers in the POIs though.
I've pushed shopping carts that could wake the dead. Pun intendedCats just know how to make people feel insignificant....
I've never heard a shopping cart that loud unless it gets hit by a car. Would the sound of chalkboard screeches for the squeaky wheels work?
Also!I actually like that way better than the horde.
Which is why I vote no on this “feature”.Hate pushing around a loud cart , so annoying...

One of the reasons Walmart can sell their stuff so cheap is they buy all the wrecked shopping carts from the OTHER stores, instead of purchasing new.I regularly "test drive" ALL shopping carts in any store I go to...except for Costco , theirs seem to always work...In grocery stores , especially Walmart...you will get some rickety LOUD shopping carts...that is why I always test them first...
