Hey @Snowydeath - not sure where you got those deets from. Maybe quoted the wrong post? Never said I've had no problems, and I've got an i7 K series. This appears to be a coding issue as it does not affect me or others that have the same issue if you join a server, only if you host it. Perf mon on the CPU and GPU never shows it going above ~60% for a single core. Thanks for the input though.

Edit: Oooh wait I get you - you're referring to @Kinyajuu. Derp (hungover).
Yeah, I coulda made that more obvious. Also, I didn't know you were talking about servers either! That makes sense and I retract my past statement, but I will mention that hosting a server with Minecraft on the same PC (Depending on specs) can result In similar issues (Only mention it cause it's the only other voxel game I play lol. Once Beta phase is initiated I bet multicore performance will go through the roof and many of us will no longer has issues. Oh God I look forward to the future haha.

I'm wondering the exact same thing others are wondering about the diggers. Will they target player placed or player manipulated blocks first? Because if so that rules out a very effective strategy I've seen used, being the kill trenches. Iron bars or scrap plates placed above a 1x2 trench where you shoot up at the zombies or other players from below. It might also cause problems with people building recessed gardens or solar farms.
hmmm... people will get their answers when they start "testing" when experimental drops. :)

Chuck Norris doesn't make games. Games make themselves to appease him.
I'm sorry. I couldn't resist. That out of the way, I'm wondering the exact same thing others are wondering about the diggers. Will they target player placed or player manipulated blocks first? I wouldn't worry too much about it. When dealing with a new threat you look at it and just change your strategy. You adapt to it, just like a survivalist would do.

Who knows... You might find that it will be easier to deal with them now than before.

Excuse me? Not a lie, even if you believe it to be one.
The truth doesn't have to be accepted by you for it to be true, it's true because it is.

And, pet peeve, don't call me a liar.
Madmole should take you and faatal and smush you guys together ala Reeses peanut butter cups....out of the chaos would be born...

faatal Kinyajuu....

no one would doubt either of you I bet.

Let it be so....

(patent pending)

Does it really need to be said how dated making Chuck Norris Jokes makes you look? Woof.
Imagine how dated John Wayne jokes make one look. (I assume he was the one before Chuck Norris.)

More Chuck Norris jokes - Check.

Another "its been a year" whining - Check.

More supportive people defending the true faith - Check.

Everything looks on target for a few ideal guesses before Gazz, Faatal or Roland give us another tidbit of A17?

- So! I hear that zombies will target the hatch and go down the ladder if you dig underground.

- I also heard that 43% of all POI's have some falling trap.

is it true we will have zombie chickens (aka Robot Chicken)?

I heard mention that there will be better support for Mods in A17, can TFP elaborate? has the interface exposed more data points?

one thing I liked about RUST was the ability to get data like Player X killed by Player Y from 156m using Bolt Action Riffle (with scope) and was hit in the knee (there are 17 points of impact on the rust skeleton) for NN damage/fatal. includes XYZ of each.

also each block placed had the placing person UID/GUID/SteamID so you could as an admin see how placed a block and when.

another nice feature was the data on who opened and closed an item.

@Lonestarcanuck isn`t the better mod support commited with the fact that they prepare the content to be ready for steam workshop when..well when the pimps get beta ready I suppose :) ?

He wasn't the first :-)

"When the gods created Gilgamesh they gave him a perfect body. Shamash the glorious sun endowed him with beauty, Adad the god of the storm endowed him with courage, the great gods made his beauty perfect, surpassing all others, terrifying like a great wild bull. Two thirds they made him god and one third man."

Every alpha has seen more exposure to data in the xml's, I suspect this alpha will be no different.

Right off the bat, visuals in A17 looks SICK!! Also the terrain and the water looks much, much, more realistic.

It literally day and night, and looks really good now too. Lighting also looks much more realistic, and the AI seems to not be so predictable.

The AI seem more life-like now, and more realistic as well. I also like that you can, with a good shotgun equipped, 1-shot most zombies, and the new ragdoll improvements look killer too! New POIs will bring a lot of new content when we're out exploring, I would've settled for around 10 new POIS, but close to 75 !? NICE. WORK.

I just wish the bike could go a little bit faster, but that is no big deal at all.

Really looking forward to what will be a sick new release! Helluva nice job guys.

EDIT: Vultures looks totally bad ass now. They'll be an aerial threat for sure.
