I am a firm believer in the premise of KISS(KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID), especially in a post apocalyptic world. So just name the "jeep"....
M.O.L.E.

-multiple occupant land explorer
That name is reserved for the underground drilling vehicle. AKA blimp with cone on front. Coming maybe possibly sometime unconfirmed around A99.

Procedurally generated quest system.
You basically never run out of quests.
Might be too generic.

Maybe design the quest system so it’s easy to add community created quests without having to start new game and downloading extra content. All vanilla content, just text lines, NPCs and some conditions you have to meet to complete the quest.

Why do we have a claim block in SP?

Ohhh... Is that all! Riiiiiiiight!

I'll just set my watch for 4:59 and jump off. lol ;)
I think it does things to spawns inside the radius. I remember something about zombies not supposed to be spawning inside as well as items not spawning in cupboards as well.

I'm pretty sure the claim block doesn't affect spawning at all. It does let you pick up things like your forge and workbench though.

Jeep is a temporary name.
This is where you either need a lawyer, or a solid license agreement. Even better would be a good salesman that can talk Fiat-Chrysler into sponsoring the game in return for marketing placement :smile-new: .

Seriously though, if a company wants to be jerks, they can file suit for copyright, trademark, trade dress, reputational harm, and just about anything they want. If you follow the TechDirt site, they cover this kind of issue a lot, and they've had a number of articles about companies going to court over this stuff when to any reasonable person the case should have been thrown out with the first filing. Then it becomes a business decision for TFP if they want to spend the money to fight it or spend the money on developing software.

To be clear, it isn't just use of the name, it's a similar looking thing. There's no rule in US copyright about being able to change "10%" and being in the clear. I'm not a lawyer, but I did run a promotional products/custom t-shirt business, and I think I have a decent understanding about copyright, trademark, and related issues.

I like Prowler.
Prowler: Personnel Road Optional Water-Less Environment Runner

Zapper: Zombie Apocalypse Personnel Poly-Environment Runner

Cruzer: Cargo & Random Unlimbing Zombie Environment Runner

ZTV: Zombie Terrain Vehicle

7ZATV: 7 Days 2 Die Zombie All Terrain Vehicle

GuppyCar: Frequent stops and oil 'dumps' (acronym would get 'filtered'...)

Roland: Runs over LAND And Never Dumps.

Trolland: Transport Runs Over Level Land And (Although?) No Drilling (Digging?)

Jaxter: Just Another Xperimental Truck Everyone Rides (no double entendre intended. whooops...)

---(And wait until you see the Jaxter 3.0!)

UnholyJoe: Perfect just as it is.

---(or a dig at Jeep - Unholy Jeep Occupant Explorer)

---(Unholy - as it KILLS EVERYTHING - including cactii! seriously!)

CBK: Cement Block Killer

CBD: Cement Block Dispatcher

Whatever the name, it will run on Gazz and have a Roland bar.

While there may not a specific rule about 'changing 10% and being in the clear' there are Fair Use doctrines that apply to Copyrights and Trademarks. ('Trademark Fair Use' specifically.) Quantity can matter and so can intent. (Meaning using the copyright/trademark as means of recognition to increase sales or profits, etc.)

I heard the sounds in. Batman cartoon, asked madmole, he said some b.s., so I'm not even sure they know they're using stock sounds.

They caved at their barnes and nobles reference, they'll definitely stay away from the word "jeep".
Having a bad day? Last two comments are a bit abrasive even for you.

They also changed "Kevlar" pretty quickly after it was introduced.

I think they should call the ATV: "Scrolls"

/just because

I had a really strange dream that when the world ended with multipul nukes going off. I designed a device which activates because of the massive ammount of energy released from the bombs. The device then turns back time for my home. Also charged a youth potion which you drink so that you never aged. After 4-5 round trips I work up thinking yeah... but I couldnt remember how I made it in the first place.
Just introduce the same enzymes that cancer cells use to live indefinitely. Obviously, it could be dangerous. One problem with too long a life would be the rich would end up owning most everything and the rest would be economic slaves.

I've heard the lightning and bear sounds on different TV shows and commercials. I can't remember which ones, but I noticed them right away. This is because 7DTD has been permanently ingrained into my soul.

When? When can I drive a jeep? A month, 2, 3?

And make ovens cook food if attached to power, a campfire in my concrete bombshelter really makes me feel second class.

Yes...I needs me my Water Park and I can't do it now the way water works... :)

Biggest mistake I ever made was giving Minecraft a try for the first time ever a week ago. I have seen what water CAN be as well as things like flowing lava during mining.

I never cared about water before and it never bothered me until now. It is now at the top of my want list. I would LOVE to see some type of flowing water. Could make for some fun builds and some cool danger in those flooded caves.
