Now you've done it. Someone is going to believe you.
I feel I should say now that TFP is NOT announcing micro transactions.
Dang it! I was saving up for the "Look like a super hero" and the "Lone Ranger" song every time I get on a mini bike.

Okay, NOW we're all poised waiting for Aldranon to ketchup to the right page.... :)

Keep reading Papa Bear!

Well, it works. Don't think we would have much issue shipping it. Need to keep you from exiting too far above ground and falling to death, flying out of world boundary, stop from going under water and maybe on blood moon it won't get off the ground, so you can't simply float above the zombies.

The cop acid has a far reach =) Just limit the height it'll go up to and voila, problem solved. Also have it especially vulnerable to vulture attacks.
Yes, and if in it on hoard night, wave after wave of vulture hoards could attack!

Might even be fun to do on purpose as late game... Oh the fun :D

But it hurts my eyes to read so many words, are there cliff notes someone could read me? You know when you reach my age things start falling off?

So Lone Ranger song, now, take my tree dollars and fiddy cent you young wipper-snapper!

Just a little experiment.View attachment 23859

So! So! and So!! I've only been thinking about the AIRSHIP all my life and in my dreams. So I have some ideas how it can be playable and a near end game item!

Besides from the 4-8 engines it takes endless cloth and mechanical parts, its 4 hot air balloons need 4 forges heating the air, to stay level and 8 running to raise in altitude. If started cold it takes five minutes to rise, so keeping the forges lite can be critical in unknown territory.

OHHH MY GOD! It is Christmas again!!!

There it is. (I was actually F5ing for that)
I was stunned for several minutes it felt like! It is a great moment. This will be how you can go from a part 1 limited one map to a part 2 unlimited maps looking for clues to the cure and defeating the New World Order!

:D !!!!

I kinda wish they would add more options to the modded options part, like shutting weather survival off (on by default) as this feature and I call it a feature very loosely as it doesn't really add anything of value to the game other than being an annoyence. I'd also like a item durability modifier because alot of the stuff breaks way to fast, stone axe/shovel and wooden club I can see, but the iron tools, and the motorized tools and guns just bust way to fast.

I'd also love it if the block dmg, entity damage and armor loss that starts once a item goes below half durability would disappear. Maybe not so much the armor, but the tools and weapons. Them breaking so fast wouldn't be an issue for me if they didn't lose so much effectiveness past half durability left. I usually repair stuff once it hits half durability due to this, especally tools.

So as it has to be a very late game item, maybe near the tail end of "Fight the Power" quest chain where you and the duke fight to the death as you slowly weaken his power base before being able to attack him directly. (I did say I dreamed this stuff)

You find the plans to make the airship with a note that says:

"Duke! Build this now as we have determined WHO the survivor really this! We will launch all our remaining nukes at your area to kill him (her) in three weeks. Yes the survivor is that much of a threat! You have no idea what you are facing! Three weeks!"

Edit: Maybe one week would be more exciting. Then the game title is 100% accurate! :)

The comment about the Airship being OP during horde night would be OK as its a VERY late game (near end game) item. Fighting yet another night horde is no longer that fun around day 150+.

The reason why an airship is THE item to close out the game is many fold:

1) When you get in the Airship to flee the incoming nukes EMP knocked out your engines and strong winds could end up blowing you 1000's of miles to a ... Mysterious Island.

2) The maintenance to keep an airship afloat is not small (if its hot air). If its helium, then that is why you have to attack the duke to escape the nukes: He has the last known supply of helium!

3) if Part 2 is multi mapped, its the only way to feasibly navigate so many maps look for clues, supplies and finding allies.

4) In short, having an Airship IS an adventure in itself!

5) At the end maybe you can take a few people with you on the airship. YOU must decide who will live and who will die in the fiery blasts of the incoming nukes!

:)

We really need the ability for custom paint jobs and free hand grafiti with the airship. That's a flying billboard that will look lame without.....stuff.....written on it. (Family friendly, of course.)

One thing about it concerns me though. If you happen to fly over some bandits with a rocket launcher, wouldn't you go down like the Hindenberg? Be a shame, that.

Having an airship allows TFP's to guild you through whatever adventures imaginable because ultimately, an airship can be moved to any location TFP want you to be. Without feeling too "scripty".

so far the best game ever

i can resist to glorify the fun pimps for the hard work and efforts to accomplish this

cant wait till alpha 17 tbh

trying to be busy to let time flow but jeep video made me very impatience
