The cop acid has a far reach =) Just limit the height it'll go up to and voila, problem solved. Also have it especially vulnerable to vulture attacks.
And gyrocopter attacks. I'd love to take out a blimp from a gyrocopter. If the blimps are too resource heavy to make available to players it could still be cool to have one anchored at the Duke's casino with a quest to shoot it down...

Wait, so this is more than a gaff (like the sharks) and could become a thing?
Totally. Exactly like the Behemoth and Ziplines.

It depends completely on the Huenink Bros. and if they get excited about it. They were really excited about ziplines after a vacation where they went ziplining so they mocked up some preliminary stuff which they showed and had every intention of moving forward but ultimately decided it was beyond the scope.

Blimps are cool but are they really in the scope? Yes, if Rick and Joel get on board and stay on board. Otherwise no. My feeling is that it will be no...

And Madmole's public reasoning was that ziplines would make it too easy to escape a horde, so that whole "float above the zombies" thing is a pretty important consideration.

Entities, buffs, skills, items, mods
Adding <effect_group> and the desired events and actions and passives to any of the above. It's all one system internally and is contextual so it knows what it's running on.
This... changes everything. Modding is gonna be so much less limited. This is gonna be amazing.

Hay Roland

I see there was an update to the first post, but for the life of me I don't see what changed. In the future could updates be in a different color for the dumb and blind like myself

Okay Carrot Face. I put it in green for you. :)

Hmm. I have poked at all the linked 'Things for to look at that were the devs talking about a thing". Last one was the 2 weeks ago. Digging through the shenanigans of the past 2 weeks feels a bit of a task and I wanna get back to modding. Any chance you can link me to these awesome new stuffs that have been mentioned since then...? Lol. Just if you happen to know off the top of your head where/what they were. Definitely not asking you to go digging for me, it's not pressing.

Unless you just mean the vehicle video. Saw that the other day. It is spiffy, but not as exciting to me personally. I am super excited for more interesting ways to warp the systems into abominations nature never intended.

Just wait. That was two weeks ago. Wait until you catch up to today's news... :)
Have you FINALLY allowed for all eyes to be replaced with guns that fire whenever the user thinks of shooting instead of the laborious process of pulling the trigger?

Yep they dumbed it down :(
They even removed ammunition. Too much bloat and tedium.

Laser eyes for the win!

That's the mustard. You grabbed the wrong condiment.
Dare you bash the mustard?

You know what tastes like lies and sadness? Miracle Whip. Not even real mayo; not even palatable.

And we get yesterday's news When? Notice he didn't say when we would get "todays news". Trolland is not to be trusted. Loved, yes, trusted, no. :chuncky:

However, you can trust him to troll and trust that he's lovable (regardless of thematic orientation), so arguably that's not an absolute :p

Oh, I see the news I missed, microtransactions and loot boxes confirmed. Yay!

(just to be safe for anyone randomly scrolling last page, no, this is joke)

You know sometimes Gazz actually does reveal stuff. He's not here to abuse forum goers with ambiguous statements about balance and veiled threats about "real choices" ALL the time.

Today Gazz revealed that the block id limit is being raised. Of course being that it was Gazz doing the revealing it took Guppycur to parse out the announcement part. So that's what happened today. We found out modders will have a lot more flexibility. Now...just wait until you hear about quests one of these days....
