Well we quickly upgraded to safety goggles when some of the firebricks turned out to not be fire bricks and exploded. so yeah we got experience!

also frame rates stayed the same even after adding about 20 cans.

the heat map was crazy with the blower on high.

I was just wondering, for A17, can we please make snowberry seeds?

I love making Snowberry juice (yum-yum) for those cold winter nights.

I have never done anything with snowberries other then eat a few when stuck. I did get crazy sick and died once, I wolfed down like 20-30 of them .

so what is the forge bug? I have a 980/I7/32G of RAM and I play on a Multi-player server and have 3 forges (2 making cement and one with iron/clay) both are at max stacks and I don't see any frame/memory issues.

Usually I use no more than 5 forges - 1 above ground , 4 under 30+ blocks undergournd/away from "base" and never had a problem,too. Game is played by lots of different configurations of hardware and bugs are possible.It is not optimised yet., you know :)

Been there, done that.

I guess I didn't read the warning label, though there isn't one, hah.

I use snowberry juice when I'm the cold biomes.

My character hates coffee, just like his real-life counterpart, lol.

I just wouldn't mind farming snowberry is what I am getting at :laugh:

Number of Forges hasn't anything to do with it and wasn't it you that had a pissing contest with Xeen about your PC-hardware :smile-new: ? No wonder you don't notice any problems.

Eh no, wasnt me with the Pissing Contest about hardware. i honestly doesnt even know wich i have. And my comment with the Forges werent meant about Contest either, just wanted to point out that his lags cant be normal if i got so much Forges running without any Problems.

No it isn't! Just because some weirdo politics is going on on TV doesn't eliminate all the great places there are to go and things to see. Yellowstone Park isn't going anywhere because a man in a suit exists somewhere.

I use a Forge Farm of 24 or 32 ( depends on the build ) and never get Drops more as 5 to 8 fps down... strange.

It doesn't matter how many forges you have, the FPS takes a hit while you are looking in the UI and making things very rapidly.

Im still on 960.... :p

I played A16 with a GTX 660 lmao. Processor was an i5 760 (4 cores at 2.8GHz). Literally could not look in my forge while crafting bullet casings at a high level (increased crafting speed) or my FPS would drop from 30-50 to about 5.

First part I agree with. It's more of a bug fix not an exploit in my mind but the second? You are walking on the flat end when they are upside down. Why WOULD they cause damage?

If you stick spikes upside down and attach to roof how would the sharp tip not do any damage. Not a bug or exploit it is as intended......

Ok, for clarification: The forge bug is..., nah, just read eidobunny's post, he says it all. The problem was worse in A15.

Forget the "attach to roof", a lot of people dig one block down and place upside down spikes there on the ground. Result: A level ground made out of the bottom of spikes. Looks harmless and flat but makes damage like a normal spike

If the spike is upside down where the pointy side is attached to the floor/ceiling (where the bottom is facing out), why would you take any damage?

I am going to Yellowstone, for the first time, in September. Really looking forward to it.

Recently I discover this forum and registered to it.

I was playing this game very long time, since Beta 10 is come out if I remember.

Last year I buy original game from Steam and dont have many hours played because of private problems etc..

7DTD is very good lookin game and is very relaxing and fun to play. I cold playing it for hours but the problems with my eyes and vision dont allow that :upset:

I read here that alpha 17 is coming very soon and some people can play it/test before if they have a password..

I be very happy and much appreciate and thankfull if creators of game could give me password for a17 :smile-new:

Sorry, but they are joking about the password. There is no public password currently available for A17.

 
@faatal We will get some block physics update? i really need a better block to make big structures without having a lot of pillars inside of it.
