Any ETA on the next update? I want to start new but I don't want to have it be immediately obsoleted :(

my b199 save is broke(press E cant open any item)
There’s always a chance. They’ve been testing the latest build for about 2 hours. If it’s ready it will probably release tonight. If not, they will work on it tomorrow.

To me the the game has become a grind..the loss of zombie loot is boring waiting for 1 drop every 100 zombies it feels like. Even the magazines are useless...i would rather have the old recipe books back.

The endless grind of killing zombies to get a single point that i cant use where I want, until I raise up another 10 levels. Just seems kind of drawn out to get where I want to go. My choice of direction hits a wall purposely, trying to draw out the game a little longer. A false sense of mid and end game play.

There are aspects that I like, but the vehicles except for the bike are useless to me.

Although I was excited to play...maybe from the long wait..but for the most part, I am kind of underwhelmed with the direction of gameplay.

Just my 2 cents.

 
so here's what I see for the future

with the ability to edit maps and prefabs. I think there should be a database online to upload these for other players to download and play

kinda like the custom maps in portal.

with a little luck, this will be integrated right into the game with a browser of some sort.

players could then add whole campaigns to play through. left for dead style.

also given the new xpath feature I would like to see a mod window in the main menu so we have the choice to apply different mods to different save games instead of them applying to all games.

 
I think anyone over 5 can pick one up off the street, but that only a chemist could scrap a rubber tire into plastic...
...seems dumb, all those tires around and the only place you can find them as loot, is in garage boxes.
Yeah, I agree with the tire part for sure. I kinda got the last way, even though beating the tires with hammers / fireaxes was weird, the rng behind the "loot or nothing" picking up tires was understandable since not all of them would be usable. But now its tear a perfectly there tire into scraps... then melt the scraps with acid, then you get a tire. o.O Should just be able to pick up the tires laying around and it either saying "yup, it's usable" or "nope, unusable"

 
Day 14.

Hold up in a working stiff for the horde. Only have 2 torches to light up the combat area.

Fight ends. Start looting. Realize I’m wearing a miner helmet.

what perk affects the quality of loot in containers?
none that I know of, lucky looter says loot 10% faster and narrow down treasure chest search diameter. doesnt sound very lucky, just sounds like fast eddie

The perk’s description is deceptive. Last time I checked the xml it improved loot quality at all levels.
