Late? I work as a Waitress in a Hotel-Restaurant. That is my normal Time to be online, since I only work late Shifts. I am currently not Playing 7Days. I don't want to spoil my Lust till I get my little Hands on A17E.

 
It was always end of July when Joel said "July" but I was noticing more and more posts here and on steam where people were saying things like "2 more days!!!!" and I felt I needed to clarify for those who see July 1st or even hope for a July 4th American holiday release when they see "July". The good news is we are definitely dialing in on the actual release time. The bad news is that there is at least 4 weeks to go. Best to keep expectations in the realm of truth and to avoid "Maybe its tomorrow!" posts everyday for the next month.

Nice update! Wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being August but we shall see. I'd rather have the experimental release more polished than less, but probably will be trying it out just to join in on feedback.

No July 4th release??? You may delay our Alpha! But you'll never take....OUR FREEDOOOOOOOOM!

I just use a hoe before harvesting the good ones, then get the harvest bonus. works for every crop type

Sorry if I'm a couple of pages behind, but wait... there is a harvest bonus for using the hoe when harvesting? I have 560 hours in-game and did not know this... smh. Just started a new game with Valmod (my first mod attempt) and at the beginning stages of my farm. Trying to pass time for A17 so started a new map. I know this isn't really the forum for it, but if I hit the crops with a hoe... I get more? This many hours in and I still feel like a noob :bi_polo:

My bad - Just read the following posts. Thank you @Unholyjoe for the video... Makes perfect sense now. You are the man, Joe who is the unholy one! Love your posts btw... partially antagonistic in the best way possible and fully useful on dev insights! That is a fine line to walk, sir. They should base a "Traitor" after you... if they have not yet.

You will always get the hype of people calling for release. Especially now since dev time has increased. Only way to avoid this is to either communicate more. By putting out small dates and reachable goals. Or by not communicating at all.

Same with little children really. Don't want them to get overly excited? Take small steps, or say nothing at all before the surprise.

EDIT: And to be honest. Hype is good. Hype is attention. Attention is moneyz. Moneyz is more Dev time or new games.

I've heard something similar. Latest rumour going around was Experimental this weekend for streamers and we get it monday (Prior to you updating the first post.)

I said there's no WAY they'd release before 4th July because they deserve stress-free time with their families.
