Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

Ahh but these mushrooms I mentioned are inside poi's, and they are harvestable need to hit them, Pissy waters public pool has about 17-19 to see what I mean on the ground floor around the big pool. One of the few you CAN hit E to harvest is in one of the traders, the one with the log building, usually is in winter biomes.

In A16 Yucca juice used to help with the desert, but in a17 they removed its cooling part for some reason. Yucca Smoothie helps in the winter biome, but afaik there is no food that actually helps to deal with desert/heat.

Whats the diff between the vanilla shotgun and the combat shotgun? I mean besides the combat one looking much cooler.

 
Combat shotgun is fully auto, so you can just hold down left mouse and go to town. ;)

And those ones in POI's have been placed at stage 2 by the creator for... whatever reason.

 
Yeah, those empty boxes are annoying. I install mod that lets you get them in you're inventory when u destroy them, so at least they have use. Loved WotW because Dwall added loot to them. But that might be why people say it had to much loot.

 
That was exactly the problem. Made the retirement village super OP.

Been wondering about doing that myself but still very unsure.

Also, while I remember, the experimental branch of the MOD on the launcher has been updated for A17.4E compatibility. :)

 
ACTION SKILLS

So when it says "+5% Damage to this weapon class. Increases at skill level 21."

It means that my bow will be stronger by 5% when skill level is between 1-21 ? 10% stronger when between 21-41 and so on ? :)

 
At one point in WotW those boxes would be destroyed on loot. Thought that was better, but when they always respawned was definetly to much. So if you change them to have loot, just have them be destoyed on loot.

 
The problem with that, is if it's a quest POI, you can just reset it if you get a quest for that location.

So you can loot it, reset it and loot it again.

Don't get me wrong, it IS a good idea, but yeah.... sadly it can be worked around in A17.

Also Dwall needs to hurry up with WotW. I want to play that again. ;)

 
Will check them later, but make sure you aren't putting them near other plants. That was a bug in A16 if they were near plants that needed water. Planting them away from those plants seemed to fix it, so I thought it was worth mentioning.

Yucca smoothie I think? I do plan to look into drink effects to see if I can help with that.

There is a big confusion in the skill tree. I have learned many skills/perks before I could learn new professions. After learning new profession many of the old skills are gone and now red. ie. i learned to make steel, but after unlock Laborer I wasn't able to make steel anymore till the point I finish all quest. So it's OK now, but I can't make wrenches now. I unlock some professions, so I don't know exactly when was happening.

But the professions and "common" perks/skills disturbs each other.

Some classes can't buy some perks.

Laborer, for example, can't buy steel crafting because they get it as part of hammer and forge.

The reason I did that is because people kept complaining they could buy perks they didn't need.

I recommend using The Perkolator to view perk requirements since I CANNOT edit the "Disabled by status effect" text.

 
yes I understand it, but some receipts are now gray, so I cant't make ie. wrenches anymore. Other perks are red, but I can still make the items. So this are two kinds of cases.

Hmm maybe i'll add it to stage 2 for shrooms once I figure out how to do it, then I just have to make sure I don't punch them when they say "growing"

I have tweaked rwg a bit, but I'd wait for build 3 if you want to mess with that. I'm still doing tweaking. I -think- it's safe to go from 17.3 to 17.4, but make sure you backup your save first.

Yeah I did that, it lets me pick it up as a "POI" decoration, which is fine, as later on I can plant them on the ground in my base and just punch them to get mushrooms, its ass backwards but it works good enough for me for now. So to backup the save I go to my app data and into the 7 days to die folder? I have 2 installs of 7dtd, one is the normal latest experemental offical build, then I have a second one where its 17.3 Darkness Falls.

 
Annoying you had to upgrade to 64GB, but glad you're enjoying it. :)

Side-note: I made a 16k map today while testing RWG and actually PLAYING the map uses 20GB... I couldn't believe it.

 
I picked the Mechanic and Huntsman classes. I didn't get any recipes on completion of 6th quest in either line. What gives?
