Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

Seems like legendary items are much less likely to drop than they used to be. That's probably intentional, which is fair.

I wish there was a way to have a single random legendary towards the start of the run. Like an option on map creation, or a bit of code like "if a legendary hasn't dropped yet in this world, then it is much more likely for one to drop". Would be fun to mold my whole run around that legendary...even if it sometimes is Khaine's Kickstarter Fund lol

I'm having so many issues trying to get this to work. I absolutely cannot launch the game once unzipping and moving the mod over to my folder. I have a log if I can send it somehow? Please someone help. I've been doing clean installs for hours trying to get this to work the past two days, and I just cannot.

 
I also am having trouble. Ever since the base game update a couple days ago I cannot get darkness falls to work. I had assumed it affected everyone, but today saw some live streaming DF playthroughs on youtube.

Troubleshooting basics; (without using EAC)

Gives a scrolling console error immediately at startup after TFP logo...

(date and time by the second) EXC NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

7 days can run with DF removed.

Uninstalled and removed residual folders relevant to 7 days under the User files and steam common directory

Clean re-install 

7 days base game able to run

Reinstall of DF and...no success.

Using the base game launcher inside the game folder, tool tab, "Clean game data" option. No success.

That all being said... Khaine, I have been floating in the background of 7DTD community for years. Seen so many features come and go. I just wanted to say I also (like the rest of the DF community) really appreciate the work you have put in to retain many of those features. I hold out an extreme and distant hope that one day maybe TFP would see it worth it to include a final version of DF with the base game once enough time has passed to; "let the concrete dry". I believe your work deserves a permanent recognition. It doesn't just recognize your work, it recognizes all the work TFP have put in and forgotten over the years. Work that we all in this community experienced as it unfolded.

So anyway, thank you!

 
Yes, I also have same issue after last update. Clearing data, saves, reinstalling game, nothing helps. Sorry to write here only when problems occur. 

I also want to compliment developers for great creation

 
You can try to set the game to version 1.1 , that fixed my troubles after the new update

Hello. How do I find DF objects now? Previously, you typed CM and an item with object search appeared in the main menu. And now he's gone.

 
All apologies but I'm new here and I'm having a hard time even just downloading the mod. Anytime I click the provided link it acts like its going to open the tab but instantly closes it. I don't know if its just my pc or not but I would appreciate the help thanks.

Maybe it's not your case, but I'll share two solutions that helped me:
1st: When I clicked the link, a pop-up appeared asking to "allow" the download.
2nd: I switched browsers.

There is actually a B18 version already, but that one kills broadcast storage, so probably avoid it for now. If you don't care about it, then get B18 for the other fixes.

Broadcast storage will be likely removed completely in B19.

EDIT: There is a fix for B18 that you can download for broadcast storage. It is on the DF discord. I don't know if broadcast storage will still be removed in B19.

I tried the Discord fix and I still can't get broadcast to work. Maybe its my ignorance but I do have boxes with broadcast enabled with the device upgrade, and my workstations still don't see the mats regardless of how close to the station.

 
Quick question regarding the Journal. I THINK I saw an option to suppress journal updates after I installed the DF mod (B16) back in December. I was trying to figure out the new farming changes at one point (since figured out) and thought 'maybe the journal will tell me'. I have one journal entry after 30 game days for Fatigue. Does anyone know where that setting is? I cannot find it again despite my best efforts to, so I can toggle it back on. Maybe it was a vanilla setting that got hidden post DF install? Any info would be helpful at this point.

Having fun. Recently got set on fire by a demon cop and got surprised by an incubus in the bunker (AP coil rounds for the win). Fun was had.

Minor compatibility notes (for other players):

-QuickStack 1.7.0 works if you modify the icon locations in the xml file (move them horizontally to 630 and 670), and set the working range to something reasonable like 10 blocks. If I had the time I'd figure out how to do an IF check in the xml to include a check for DF with the new values (I've seen "if's" done for other mods, so it should be possible)

-Dewtas Hold Multiple Quests V1.0 does NOT work (as of DFb16), for both the traders and scouts. Unfortunate, but not unexpected.

-Quest Area Timer v1.0 works (saved me twice)

-OCB Stop Fuel Waste v1.1.0 works

Zombies near your location can also stop broadcasting from working. I noticed this recently as my workbench went from able to see materials to not, then I heard my shotgun turret kill a zed and it worked again.

 
Visited the small bunker with the quest.
It became very weak, the location is literally 3 shots, before there was action. So I prepared, and here is the first level of quests, pity!
