Current high demand Pimp Dreams (Constant W.I.P)

Currently working on a list of some of the higher demanding Pimp Dreams that gamers would like to see introduced into the game that can be looked at by The Fun Pimps.

Please keep in mind that I went to some of the higher replied threads. I did not look on every page and I did not look on every topic. If you think something should be added, It's best to make a topic for that suggestion, get the backing from the community then I can edit the list. Please let's not try to clutter this list with suggestions and let's keep it for the "List that gets submitted). If the community backs your topic then I will update this list to show off to The Fun Pimps Team.

Please only post your Topic URL for review for submission. When creating your topic try to provide as much information as to how your item or suggestion would function, how it can be crafted why you think it would become useful overall. Ask the community to back you in your topic with suggestions on how to expand on that idea or just simple adding a +1 to your Topic to help raise attention and awareness.

Thank you..

Hi Kage,

I just joined the 7 Days to Die Official Forum yesterday, so I'm kind of new here and have a few questions. You mentioned in your post (at the top of this category (Pimp Dreams)) that you were going to be putting together a list of posts to present to The Fun Pimps. Then you presented a long list of categories (below that) where people's posts & ideas could be categorized & organized; unfortunately, my post doesn't fit into any of those categories. The title of my post is... "DEVS: There's only one solution that will save this game!"

My recommendation does NOT include anything specific that needs to be added to the game. The recommendation is “how to organize the game itself,” and there is no category that you listed for that.

Briefly, during the town hall meeting, The Fun Pimps mentioned that they were going to be making changes to the game, and later on adding a story mode. My idea was for them to add two additional modes to the game: Sandbox Mode and RPG mode. This way, they could make all the changes to the game that are currently being requested by the sandbox players, while simultaneously developing the RPG portion of the game--which is their vision for the game. Then, the sandbox version would NOT affect the RPG version, and vice versa. In effect, this would end all the conflict that's taking place right now between the developers and the players. Everybody would get what they're asking for.

As you can see, this proposal is extremely time sensitive: The developers are currently tearing down the old code and rewriting it to make all the proposed changes that were mentioned during the town hall meeting--ultimately rewriting the game. If they receive this proposal too far into the future and decide to accept it, it's going to cost them a lot of time and work--twice as much, in fact--because they would have to rewrite portions of the code for the RPG portion of the game again (which is what they're changing right now).

However, if the developers were to receive this proposal immediately and accept it, then they would have absolutely no work to do (right now) on the RPG portion of the game. They would simply leave the current game in its current state. Then, all they would have to do is rewrite the code for the Sandbox version of the game, which is what they're doing anyway.

I know this is a lot to ask, especially with me being new here and all, but could you get this proposal to the developers as soon as possible? I truly believe that this proposal would end all the conflict between the developers and the players--while, at the same time, organizing the game in a way that would meet everybody's wants and needs. Isn't that the ultimate goal that the developers are trying to accomplish?

Ultimately, the final decision is yours. I just want to say thank you for considering this path for the future of the game.

Definitely a big fan of the idea of having animals for mounts and things like the fishing and farming animals thing. My biggest thing I want to see is more stuff to highlight the specific POI locations and give chances, or certainties, of items that are super special or even one of a kind items that you cannot get back if lost or destroyed. Examples include things like someone made their own quad-barrel shotgun and if you find the house you can find it there and use it. Another is having an airport where there is a little bi-plane that takes gas that you can fly around, but once it's gone you can't just build another...it's just gone forever. Always been a fan of exploration and finding things that are unique or special so I'd love to see that and maybe even crazier things like a working fire truck you can drive or a custom sword someone had in their man cave you can use to slay zombies. Partial to the Soul Reaver sword from Legacy of Kain myself, but you could pick or make up so many things. Have an actual rail gun that shoots iron in a laboratory or military base, find a minigun, find a mech suit or power armor, or even get stupid with it and have a teleporter system you can find that allows you to put up a limited number of "waypoints" so you can instantly go from a place to your base and back. Oddly, I also am eager to see them implement bandits with melee and guns and I'd like to see traps that are randomly spawned in when you make the world...stuff like a bridge covered in mines in a city or a spike pit trap in the forest. I feel these things would help fill out the world and make it feel more lived in. You know people will farm, fish, trap, and defend in the apocalypse for survival. You could also add wondering merchants with guards that are armed with guns and add ammo factories with a triggered event where the factory produces a box of ammo of a type by you have to fight a horde and protect the factory while it's going.

I know they are cooking up something good but would love these additions.

2. Also would love to have the ability to duck under one block again.

3. Being able to crawl would be a killer feature.

- Make it so that if you do crawl damage from zombies would be ten times higher. Since your body would be completely undefended.

4. The ability to build on trees would be nice.

5. Mad Scientist skill tree,

- At the higher Mad Scientist skill tree, you could craft a vaccine that would turn you into a half zombie allowing you to tame/control a couple other zombies. You would have to keep crafting and taking the vaccine. If the vaccine wears off your zombie pets will tear you a new one.

- Mad scientist would have unique weapons for the Mad Scientist craft tree.

- Mad scientist would not be bothered by the zombies but would be constantly attacked by the roaming bandit hordes.

6. Give me bandits like the

- Gatling gun totting bandit name Tom Wilson slow but deadly.

- Sniper bandit who runs from close combat, named Thadeous Dean, beware he runs to get a good sniping advantage on your location.

- Shotgun Eddie, ex-cop wears a sweat suits and likes kicking doors in. Usually, the first guy in your face usually the first guy that dies.

- Retired cop turned bandit Johnson Smitty, wants to live the quiet life but on the day he retired the world ended. Terrible shot with a handgun but moves very fast.

- Wet Water Willy the Water bandit, likes to hide in water for a nice afternoon ambush with a Bowie Knife Mate.

- and last but not least Shelly Slash you up. She wields not only a Katana for close combat but pulls an Uzi to light you up from a distance. She is the boss.

- And if you kill the bandits without getting head shots then they will turn into regular zombies that are stronger since they are new zombies.
