With Cross-platform coming, what can we expect for mod support? Now before everyone goes off.. I've seen the road map we are all aware of the Steam Workshop in the works down the road for full support of mods.
I'm not to sure how that would work for console players. unless they work some magic with Steam to Sony to Microsoft. But currently if I'm not mistaken, we're dealing with .xml & .config modifications for pc users. Once cross play is released, are console users going to have the ability to join us pc folks & have access to servers with custom .xml & .config files. I do see that users are having some type of issue with storage/data on console with limited saves, or specific generation of consoles can only run X size maps.
Basically the question is, if I'm hosting a 7D2D server, cross-play active 8-10k map with custom .xml - .config can my console squad play with me. Or do I need to continue to roast them for not buying a PC.
