Does ADD prevent you from reading some text?
Not at all. I would even say that I'm proficient at reading text. However I forget what I've read often, particularly in the short term.

So for ADD, imagine a table. This table can fit 2 red apples on it. But there are many red apples that need to be tended to and sometimes the influx of red apples is faster than they can be dealt with. Does that make sense to you?

Fair enough. Doesnt make the OP have ADD all of a sudden and cant read text while accepting a mission with clear objectives and read text very clearly visible while doing the quest. Didnt know this request was made for catering the ADD amongst us. If it was, i apologize. But i do not think it was.

All right, skill issue confirmed. But it's all good, not all of us were born to communicate.
(Yes, that is purely condescending. I'll happily eat the kickban, if need be.)
Aaaaw. Admitting to personal attack without argument. How cute. Does that work in real life?

Nobody is saying OP has ADD. I was joining the trend of providing perspectives that were independently in support of the same concept. Then someone said " You're right, it shouldn't be part of the challenge. You shouldn't need the game throwing up a giant red wall to remind you what you even went to the POI for in the first place. You're only told several time from the point of reading/accepting the quest to completing it what the objective is. If you can't retain that info long enough to complete the quest then maybe it isn't a game issue."
So I confirmed that I indeed have some personal issues that hinder me in the goal of not dropping the apples.

I'm not necessarily saying there should be a timer either. I'm still mulling over what I think a good solution would be. I don't really like the "stay within" objective at all tbh. But maybe there's a reason for it being that way I haven't considered yet.

Yes there is. Zombie persistence. If you are allowed to drive off from a quest at will, zombies will despawn and quest will be fukked. So what is it you are really asking? Be safe from a clear/fetch quest for eternity by just "run away" and "coming back"? Or make the game force you to stay within boundaries while clearly stating met objectives in UI and meet the challange? My only argument againts op is, he "forgets" what the objectives are and are clearly IN YOUR FACE while doing any guests. Apart from any ADD, ADHD or Autism arguments, there is no argument. You get a mission stating what are objectives. And when you activate mision the objectives are IN YOUR FACE all the time in UI. So im not downplaying you in any way or any mentally changellenged players. But thats not the argument of OP. He just covers eyes and ears and says, game should compensate. I wholeheartedly disagree with that. But thats just an IMO with arguments. Oppossed to the personal attacks from OP without ANY argument. Peace brother.

Fairly certain I explicitly said I wasn't asking for anything. I also don't know that zombie spawns would be impacted as you say. I've done a lot of modding recently and zombie spawning is the mod I actually finished implementing. Zombies only spawn so many while asleep in the first place. Maybe if you wake them up and then lead the zombies away? But then why not have them despawning be the quest fail trigger if you try to cheese like that? Why are you trying to shut down the discussion at its very conception when you are the one who extorted a suggestion from me in the first place?

I don't appreciate your characterization of my mental profile either. I am also autistic. My poor, prefrontal cortex can't catch a break. I've been trying not to stoop here but you're describing the same things I do and saying it's directed at OP (as though that makes it better) and then saying it's fine for me to make those mistakes. Your attitude implies that I'm lesser and it isn't as subtle as you think. I might be disadvantaged. But I'm slow FOR ME. Which looks quite different from what you would if you had the same disabilities, I promise.
