Bladed weapon and Baton perk book series

I'm proposing a book series for Bladed weapons and Batons as they don't have a proper series yet.

Tech Junkie series could be changed slightly to remove baton stuff.
The Night Stalker series should be reworked to be more of a stealth series. It already has limited use for bladed weapons and has stuff that is useful for all builds not just bladed weapons.

Surgical Precision - bladed weapons book series
Vol. 1Precision IncisionDo 10% more damage with bladed weapons
Vol. 2Sterilized BladeBladed weapons degrade 20% slower
Vol. 3Blade RunnerMove 10% faster with a baded weapon drawn
Vol. 4Surgical SteelCraft serrated blade modification for bladede weapons
Vol. 5Lower Extremity ResectionCrouching power attacks to the legs have a 100% chance to cripple the target
Vol. 6Hypovolemic Shock5 or more bleeding wounds slow enemies
Vol. 7Arterial SprayAllow an unlimited number of Bleeding Wounds
FinalThe Surgeon's HighPower attack kills refill your stamina

Protect And Serve - baton book series
Vol. 1Necessary ForceDo 10% more damage with batons
Vol. 2Equipment MaintenanceBatons degrade 20% slower
Vol. 3Non-Lethal HardwareCraft Stun Repulsor modification (remove it form Tech Junkie)
Vol. 4Basic TrainingIncrease attack speed by 10%
Vol. 5Subdue and RestrainDeal 100% more damage to shocked targets
Vol. 6High-Profile ArrestGain double XP from baton headshot kills
Vol. 7Electrical SparkThe charged baton has a 25% chance to also set the target on fire
FinalRiot Control50% chance to shock melee attacker when wielding a Stun Baton

I put "Gain double XP from baton headshot kills" to batons, as sledgehammers already kill more than twice as dast as batons so they really should not have this perk.

These book series are so amazing. Thanks for sharing them.
 
Ur idea is cool but....imho, perk books should be removed, not grow in numbers (dont understand why this weird stuff is kept)! They dont give any gameplay feature - just a waste of space!

Love this. Knives and Batons don't really have their own book series and need them.

You should come up with replacement books in Night Stalker and Tech Junkie, and post all this in Pimp Dreams.

Perks which can be granted from already existing perk tab, new recipes which can be unlocked throught separate schematics!
So whats the perk books purpose/sence?, doing same what other 2 things do already?
Instead of 70 books taking space and being forgoten after they being read - its better to add more tools/weapons, consuming items and etcs which definitely would be used way more times and give more gameplay variaty?
Also i mistaken a bit in the previous comment, i was meaning: "They don't give interesting multi-use gameplay features"

In my opinion the perk books are fine. They should remove all the leveling books. Instead, the weapons could level up by gaining xp from kills while using that weapon (proportional to the xp you gain). That would get rid of a huge amount of useless and th emost boring books.

Thats my point exactly. They both have some books deditaced to them but are mixed with other stuff not related to this weapon and skill tree. This just makes using bladed weapons and batons less fun because you can't find cool perks for them lik the other weapons have.
 
It's a trap. Alexzander wants the perk books removed so he can then post that TFP spends too much time removing stuff from the game....
 
There are currently no plans to add books for bladed or baton weapons, however, I will add these suggestions to a wish list document and discuss them with Madmole as this is a highly requested topic.
