People who define themselves primarily as "customers" make me rather laugh. The initial post seemed to be a real request, but in fact it was just to put the word "lazy" in. Nothing great, in the end.
First and foremost I am a customer. Secondly I am a backer and backed this game years ago and I bear with it being an Alpha for prolly a decade but I expect something in return.
The gaming industry seem to have people so far that they're thankful they need to prepurchase an unfinished product and expect nothing during early access until it's finished (if ever)
And yes, it was a real request: One not to be lazy.
Adding the sound effect is literally drag'n'drop in Unity.
The fact that the bike goes slower up- and faster downhills already shows they got those signals.
The fact it uses stamina while pedaling and that you use the arrow key to do so, shows they got those signals as well.
Buying some sound assets linking them to the signals is easy and the bike, despite it's gruesome mount animation suddenly seems polished.
So it's literally a matter of not being lazy and spending a little time to deliver a new feature decently instead of having a bike that sounds like a pirate is dragging a limp pegleg through gravel and have users think: "Do they even bother anymore?"
And the bicycle "bell" is just hilarious. They had time for that, which I appreciate, but not the other sounds.
