I'm still looking (though I've been pretty happy with the Lothric map i posted earlier, on day 5 now), but with little success. Largest buildings i've found are things like the Ostrich Hotel on several occasions but nothing bigger than that.Welcome to the club, there's like 5 of us now searching for a big city, to no avail.
LOL, nice! I found one inside a POI that I was sent to via quest, which was a house still under construction. The little cave section in the basement had one chilling in there, with a bunch of mutilated corpses at the entrance to the hole. Crept around, saw that, said "nuuuuuupe", and went back to complete. On the way home, almost got mauled by a pack of roving dogs (game spawns *8* of them in a group) but managed to avoid them.But Zombie Bear attacks! On Day 1! Before noon! I didn't stay to fight with my wood club but I'll be back!

however, if you look at the steam community pictures the 3rd highest rated has sky scrapers in the background!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately that is navezgane, since the city of skyscrapers is in the desert. And we will continue looking for the biggest thing that I find is the supposed factory with the yellowish edges or the other with light green.i have been trying to find sky scrapers too, i asked on steam forums with no luck.

I would think that some parts of it like the skyscrapers and stuff are bugged or something and will probably be worked on. As far as the map itself with biomes layout is what they wanted.Can anyone confirm if the random map generation will change with the official alpha 17 release? Personally I think it needs some work. I also cannot find a map with a decent city at all, not to mention skyscrapers like the pharma building. You would think they would put it in the coding to include certain buildings on all maps regardless of the seed.
For A16 I found a nice seed at the beginning of experimental. To my surprise when stable released I used the seed and it was exactly the same. But honestly who knows if that will be the case this time? I've previewed a ton of RWG the past couple days and I am very unimpressed with the new setup. Previous alphas have shown us some pretty... odd results when we start a map during one release and then DON'T delete it and start over. Who else remembers this in A12/13/14/15 when they changed the RWG code with every release, so new chucks looked insanely out of place next to previously generated ones that had used the old code?
EDIT: Guppy already posted in another thread that he could "smell 201 cooking" or something like that
