Integration of third party apps in video games is utterly unnecessary and a highly questionable practice -- as questionable as a
hospital network connecting a patient portal to Pixel so Facebook can remind chronically and terminally ill patients they're chronically and terminally ill at every opportunity via advertisements aimed at their specific conditions. Despicable. You know you're in the death throes of a civilization when people are actually profiting from our collective demise.
Privacy concerns have never been more prominent for obvious reasons. More people every day think it's
highly resentable to mess with their online accounts without their permission and tech savvy people, especially, should know that it's not worth the "efficiency" and "convenience." ("Oh, but it's all in good, innocent fun, isn't it?" Puh-lease.)
Then again, TFP seems hellbound and determined to stir up resentment toward it at every turn. I'm at a loss why I should even care about whether or not the company does at this point. It's course obviously has been decided and it'll have to deal with the consequences of that decision. I don't know whether it's intentional or pure naivete at this point.
