I am guessing that you must be constantly looking for a version that suits you, because every update is almost equal to rewriting the underlying gameplay.

Probably triggers some PTSD as well. :)

PTSD is very accurate. After jumping from A16 to A17, I have PTSD

 
dded Stealth check when player enters an "Attack" trigger sleeper volume (using a one time per zombie distance vs skill check).

No, it is per zombie. The stealth players would get less or none attacking. The unperked stealther would get most or all. You can still easily wake them up if you engage with whatever you get, but you could kite them back and deal with the ones that did attack separately.
Make that doubly so. Wow.

yeah... and damn idk if that is good. Well we can't change past so this doesn't  matter anymore but... if Devs decided to keep setting of A11, add bandits traders some story as notes would be better. Now we get mad max and... dunno - ofc models , maps will looks better but in my opinion "setting" is dead - this kinda will looks like typical "post apo larp". I don't  understand what is wrong now - cod -failure , bf , fortnite , among us etc i don't understand -damn in past we had singlarity, fear 2, dead spaces - dark and depressing. we have sometimes "diamods" like plague tale of days gone... but most games looks like "what if we make gj. joe and he man with modern graphic keepin cringe of 80-90 style"

Small note : honestly maybe i'm too much disapointed and emotional today but damn i will try to explain- people is saying that B4D is L4D3- is not "zombieland" setting, everything look generic and safe. nothing "orginal"

and sorry for grammar mistakes i'm too much tired to check

So you guys said A20 will be launch by Halloween , any news ?
We said we were trying to get it out by Halloween. Trying and will be are not the same thing.

News would be we have 14 high priority must fix bugs, which will take an unknown amount of time to fix. While those are being fixed, we will also have whatever new high priority bugs are found and then some additional testing to determine if there are any more high priority bugs left.

 
Was hoping for next Friday being announced for streamer weekend, as I figure if it isn't next weekend it'll have to be Dec. unless they are okay with releasing on Thanksgiving weekend. Could get a lot of eyes on it but I would assume most devs wouldn't be available if needed.

For example, server optimization?😁 Oh my goodness, the server must have more than 40 players. That’s interesting. I found that after A19.3, the support for more players is not ideal, and lack of more player support cannot guarantee more active users and More newly added

Players who are active on the server will not come to the developer website. One is the language problem, and the other is that many people don’t know the address. I believe that every country has its own community, and they will not visit in their own community. , I’m pretty sure the number of players is decreasing since the server cannot support more people😈

Yes. I'm talking about children becoming adults, not being born and dying in two days.

Players will see the drone, will say wow and forgot, the drone will not force them to start a new game and spend additional hundreds of hours in game, but additional options will force them. Considering that the drone is much more labor intensive to develop, they could devote at least a small part of what they spend on drone and the like to improve the basic functions of the game. That said, these few efforts will bear more fruit than big efforts for the sake of the drone.

Yes, all those smart robotic guns spoil the experience too. Therefore, I do not use them in the game. But a flying robot that independently orients itself in space is the next level.

Why is removing BM is something that you can forget about it the rest of development, and removing a trader is not it?

In addition, for me the ideal is not removing, but the possibility of manual delicate balancing of his awards and assortment. Just like now we can setting "loot", "experience" and so on. Manual trader setting in options does not force developers to support the "no trader" version of the game (although the removing option does not force, but for some reason you decided that it was not)

No. You say I made contradictory claim, one of them being it is not a sandbox. So again, where did I say "It is not a sandbox". 

No. You made a claim that the game isn't a sandbox. But you never explained it fully, you never made a logical chain between "Trader is unbalanced aka an option is missing" to "This is not a sandbox". So I have to fill in the blanks and guess what you might be driving at.

So now you can either provide a concise logical argument why 7D2D is not a sandbox without such an option or explain what you really meant or say "nevermind, that wasn't thought through, forget it".

A logical argument would show what a sandbox needs to be a sandbox, and would show how 7D2D does not provide that.

Off the top of my head

1) The trader is endpoint not only for quests he gives out but quests that can be found in the wasteland. All of those have to be deactived **depending** on this option. According to an experienced modder this might not be possible yet in XML so further changes in c++ code would be necessary.

2) The trader in A20 is a neccessary ingredient of any town as it is the endpoint of the highway to it. No trader, no highway that ends in that town. It probably would need some changes in random world generation to use an alternative newly-created POI for this as well (which I think would be the easiest fix)

3) Whether you believe it or not, bandits and story and possibly a faction system will be in 7D2D in the future, with the traders assumed to be in the middle of some of the mechanisms of this. Only TFP knows the detials, but such an interconnectedness would probably need additional code to make the game work without trader.

Blood Moon is not part of anything else, it just makes lots of zombies spawn at a specific time. I don't see any other feature of the game touched by BM.

That's about half of the number of MF bugs that were around last week, and that's very good news. Considering most bugs take at least developer day to complete in most companies, that's very quick work.

I would be happy if we got A20 as an XMas gift, but the signs point to it being released long before then. Noice!

This is my hope as well. I base this hope, on the fact that I want it to happen. It's a very scientific approach, and I think we can all agree that it will happen, and if it does not, we can directly blame the developers for not meeting our one party consensual contract

I dont remember the usual time gap between the announcement and the streamer weekend actually happening, like.. 2 weeks?
the announcement of the exact date I mean

*before someone asks, they didnt announce a date yet. Im just curious as for how long I can be sure its not happening 😁
