Delayed until next year for sure. Maybe longer.
I was pretty excited when it was announced, I instantly imagined Fallout in space, flying in spaceships, landing on planets, exploring planets full of alien NPCs, alien structures, doing quests just like in Fallout games, having followers (a must have feature), but so far I haven't seen any real footage of it, so I don't even know if it would be anything close to how I imagined it.

It's such a small detail, but I love that you've added various other drinks inside beverage coolers - beer, red tea, coffee, etc... It adds some lovely variety. :)

it makes more sense then the wasps!

In this game they really never showed that there is "mutated" animals in the same vein as Fallout or metro. so they sicked out like a sore thumb
They can add the wasp back in when all the new special infected are in and no one will question it lol...

back in 2001 when Red Faction came out some of us thought that blowing holes in everything will be a new standard xD
That game was fun. When the second didn't have the terrain destruction that the first one did. I was sad ("Explosives Expert" that can't crack a wall? bs). The crap story didn't help.

Yep. I've always said this. All these weird things they tried and weird things they were going to try (behemoth) are rarely well-received because they only seem to be in the game separately. Together, they could all make more sense.
As of right now, I'm hoping for some weirdness, mainly because the wights seem out of place. Strangely, although the wight does not match the other zombies at all, I've always heard praising of it. I guess different people spot different inconsistencies that bother them.

Yeah Rust single player and coop is so exciting. 🤪 Don't get me wrong I like Rust and have a lot of hours, but the only thing it does good is pvp. They should be stealing our pvp fans since we have put 0 effort into pvp so far. Once sp features are done I will get into pvp and do some balancing.

I don't care for the constant maintenance they added to your base. You have to stuff high quality metal into your cupboard to prevent the decay of your steel base, etc. So it becomes a grind to maintain a small fort. I get why it should decay since they don't have voxels and old abandoned bases should decay to keep servers running good but I think the new design is worse than before where you just had to log on every so often to prevent decay. Imagine building a steel base and having  it suck all the forged steel out of your chests just to keep the health bars from degrading in 7 days. It would suck. Repair is bad enough but an ongoing cost makes it so you can't casually play, you have to be playing every night for hours to maintain a small base. I used to slowly build large bases all by myself and go up against teams of dudes, that just isn't possible anymore. The big clan wins because they can afford a larger more secure base because they have 20 guys grinding resources daily.

LOL, yeah I had a little more time and I was playing it not that long ago.  It is funny because I am usually a pvp guy, but 7days has that tower defense feel and some danger that keeps it enjoyable.

I had some serious fun in rust though... I had this funny 8+ c4 solo base and another base across from it with a turret hidden behind a regular door, so most people would not suspect it.

The turret shot down a guy trying to offline raid bases and he came up to mine on a gyro and got shot, and lost all his crap to me, but you know how no lifers are, they get butthurt and just keep coming back with more stuff, lol.

So for like 3 or 4 days I wasted a lot of hours defending it, and his guys kept losing crap to me... at one point they were flying around my base in a chopper and I managed to chase them off.

One time the guy killed my turret in the turret base, i think with nades, but somehow he screwed up and died in the airlock... so i just shut the door and looted him and he had like 5k raw sulfur and a bunch of gear on him... and i was like... wut?... why?  why is this on your body?!?

Eventually I needed sleep and I just let them have it, so they could see there was almost nothing in it and the base was a trap to draw attention in the first place heh.

Good times, but now they have nerfed the loot in the safezone, and they have a phone app so you can like watch your base or get raid alerts... so there is just no way to play it casually now, so I doubt I will play it again any time soon.

Mutations are easy to explain when you have radiation suits and radiation areas. I always felt like the wasteland should have some minor radiation effects, so that the rad suits had a use. :)

if memory serves it was a hitbox issue, you could blast it point blank with a shotgun and miss
Ah, I always sniped them out of the sky. I remember rushing to my kill to try and skin it before it vanished to get some honey. :)

@Madmole

When are you guys working with Blackshark AI to build maps based off of real world cities?    Obviously I'm im joking but I am really excited to try Flight Simulator 2020 tomorrow!

Whenever I read statements from the Fun Pimps like that I wonder how many players actually play the game on a multiplayer server? Like, how many percent of all players together? Considering how unqualified this game is (in my opinion) for multiplayer servers (unless you play with some friends together only) I imagine 90 % of all players being singleplayer players. Maybe I am wrong?!

Anyway, leaving out stuff that would be cool for singleplayer due to some multiplayer concerns sounds unfortunate to me as this game will always be much more of a singleplayer game than a multiplayer one.
Okay and don't forget the likely 75+ percent of players in SP who don't know any better could take these items and place them everywhere and OOM'ing crashing by placing things the game let them place naturally without the CM menu. You know it's in CM and can use it, and by it being in the CM, it's more obvious for the 75+ percent of players that don't know any better that those are items not intended for normal usage (so if they lag out their game they know the issue, rather than blaming the devs/activating rage mode/ruining a save). Plus it's lots of clutter in the normal menu.

Cheers, and this will dissapoint you, except shooting positions, 90% of tower is solid steel with tiny craft room and bunch of safes in middle (so is hard to dig down into from the top, and hard to stair up into it if you managed to cut all spikes and dried turrets at base). So nothing fancy inside.

Thanks, yeah 7 days is best pvp game (with vanilla balance close to perfection, scales well with dozens of people), too bad people are leaving (due to collision exploits) to play Rust instead.
Huh, let them go play Rust, this is 7dtd ;)

Hey people, which skill tree increases the damage done by exploding arrows / bolts?
The explosives expert perk doesn't, and the Archery perk governs all things done with arrows/bolts including explosive variants; however, it's currently a known bug in A19 that Archery doesn't currently help with those properly.

I've been part of a gaming community for 7d2d since I started playing in Alpha 15. Our servers typically have 10 to 30 people on them at any given time. At peak hours they are often full. I saw someone earlier ask about the % of multiplayers out there. You can get a good idea of some of that, by looking at the "join game" list. Hundred of servers, a good many of them with over 15 people at anytime. I would feel quite comfortable in saying that a good majority of the players out there play on Public MP servers with MORE than 8 people. Honestly, the game is fun on your own, or with a small handful of friends. BUT, it's WAY more fun when you play on a server, interacting with lots of people. Communities get formed, hunting and questing parties. Horde night can get INSANE when you've got a couple full parties. And there is lots of bartering between the players. It really is the BEST playing experience I've had with this game, playing on a Public MP server.
