Are you planning to add crosshair settings? To make it non-static, or change the size and color. It would make the aim so dependent on your skills.
There are no further updates planned for the Xbox or PS4 versions....overlaps the split screen.
I used a mod to remove crosshair on all guns when aiming except the bows. I love it.Hi guys!
There is a question regarding the crosshair in our game. Are you planning to add crosshair settings? To make it non-static, or change the size and color. It would make the aim so dependent on your skills.
The crosshair is also very annoying when using the scope, for example, when you use a reddot, and a white cross overlaps the split screen. Probably, it's a bug.
It may not be very important for people playing PVE, but for PVP it is an irreplaceable and usefull feature.
Game is really good and exciting. I hope that she will captivate more young players in the future apdates.
I'd wait for A19 to go stable then. There is always the possibility that a change is made during Experimental that will require a new map or restart. The Devs try to avoid it but it can still happen. That is part of the point of the initial release being Experimental.Any chance of an update dropping soon? I'm worried about starting a new game...
For ladders down a shaft dig the shaft 2 grids. Place blocks down and put the ladders on the blocks.Anyone?
Are you close to a trader or another player's lcb? I ran into that same issue and had to decrease my lcb claim size because it was trying to go past the edge of the trader area.@madmole
Since you're already talking about LCB, I've got a question... is it normal that in A19 single player I can't place a LCB anymore?
I get this "no you can't" sound whenever I try to place one (anywhere) so I just thought you disabled LCBs in SP altogether. Is that so?![]()
Yea - that does seem to be somewhat oversized. But as you mentioned, it is a sniper meant to pick off targets at a longer range. So you would not be doing a lot of your normal moving activities with it equiped waiting for a zombie to pop around the corner.Lots of comparisons....
Totally agree on that. The gun is huge and that alone almost makes it unusable. It's like they are trying to simulate it being a 50cal weapon in size.It makes the Sniper kind of bad as a main weapon. I really want to use the Sniper but it has two gigantic flaws, one of which, is that it's freaking GIGANTIC and blocks like a solid 30% of your screen when using it even on high FoV. I saw a few streamers even specifically mention that as the reason they stopped using it. The smoke / bullet casing flying out when you shoot makes it really hard to shoot repeated shots too
Can we get the model toned down to like, 60% size or smaller, so it's more in line with everything else and doesn't leave you completely blind to attacks from the side of the screen when you are walking around with the weapon equipped?
@Madmole has stated that Trader loot still needed to be reworked to use the leveled loot, so I assume quest rewards would fall into that area as well.@madmole since we dont get weapons or tools for t1 quests, and what we mostly have access to is t1 weapons, can you add t1 ammo to the rewards list? such as iron arrows or blunderbus ammo? getting 9mm and 7.62 for weapons we dont have access to from a trade perspective doesnt make much sense early on.
But what weapon should the Perception-player use for fighting then? In POIs 90% of the fights are close range. Once glowies turn up you need a potent firearm besides melee for fights with more than one zombie (providing you can handle even one glowie reliably with a spear).Yea - that does seem to be somewhat oversized. I am good with scaling the size down some, but I think maybe having some weapons like that which will limit view close up is a good trade off for being able to take out far away zombies easily.
You can restart the game to fix this for now until we can find it.Hope u can fix the FPS drops! im playing with my 1070Ti (8GB VRAM) as always and it goes from 60% usage to 100% in some places and fps drops to 2.
16GB RAM and i5 -8600k im not with a bad machine.
It is the ONLY thing i don't like from this experimental, my friends and me (same issue, but my friend got a 2080) believe in you!![]()
What weapon? Anything else that is available. But what weapon should the Perception-player use for fighting then? In POIs 90% of the fights are close range. possibly, but sales loot list and rewards are separate, and I just wanted to see if that was also under consideration. when he mentioned it, he was talking about what each one sells and has available for sale and when@Madmole has stated that Trader loot still needed to be reworked to use the leveled loot, so I assume quest rewards would fall into that area as well.
I'd just pull ammo from the reward completely so you can get more books and the stuff intended.@madmole since we dont get weapons or tools for t1 quests, and what we mostly have access to is t1 weapons, can you add t1 ammo to the rewards list? such as iron arrows or blunderbus ammo? getting 9mm and 7.62 for weapons we dont have access to from a trade perspective doesnt make much sense early on.
We will be scaling it down some, it blocks way too much of the view.Yea - that does seem to be somewhat oversized. But as you mentioned, it is a sniper meant to pick off targets at a longer range. Grenades, pipe bombs, rockets, c4.But what weapon should the Perception-player use for fighting then? In POIs 90% of the fights are close range. Yeah, try hunting with a shotgun, you can't get close enough to kill them. Once I get a vehicle I just run them over and shotgun them, but until then I might carry some sort of rifle or mg for hunting. What weapon? Anything else that is available.
Folks seem to persist in the idea that if you don't perk into your weapon it is next to useless. I always carry a variety of weapons for use in different situations no matter what I have perked into. Using a weapon from an unperked tree is better than letting yourself be shoehorned into limited options because of your perk choices.
That defeats speccing into PER if your bread-and-butter solution is then an unspecced weapon of another tree. What weapon? Anything else that is available.

Ok. I assume you mean by that the waking-up-and-luring-them-somewhere-safe strategy. Will give it a try as I'm playing perception right now. Dangerous though as you have to run through a potentially trap-infested building to get them awake, simply shooting outside doesn't really work well nowadays.Grenades, pipe bombs, rockets, c4.
