1 MORE DAY ME BOY!

Sorry if this seems like a dumb Q.... but does the update affect systme performance?  I have 2 old computer.... a gtx 970 and a geforce 560
All streamers I am watching (6 persons) said they have better performance. They could increase the graphics setting or had better graphics with same settings (new lightning + new HD textures and models). While the frames per second slightly increased they are a lot more stable. 60 frames in every direcetion. In previous version they dropped to 40 if you were looking in the "wrong" direction.

Very happy to learn A19 will be better about performance. This is best survival game and the more addictive one.

Some of my friends can play A18.4 barrely. If A19 is better, it's good news.

I already changed my computer just because 7 Days To Die. I'am hugely addicted by this game and i can't image to not be able to play it in future.

Thx a lot The Fun Pimps. Continue to offer us best experience in survival. You are The Best.

I will try to do my best to promote as high as can all official channels Twitch/Youtube about The Fun Pimps Team. I prefer to do that than support tons of channels who know only 7DTD 2 days before each major update like this week for example. It's better to support Fubar Fubar_Prime - Twitch

Long Life to 7 Days To Die game and staff. The day you decided to create this game should be blessed/holiday one. I love you !!!

okay so I don't want to take away from what you did cause it is progress, they can't cross the wedge tip and that was a big exploit! They can't do the loop!

I'm also pretty sure I'm hated at this point cause my views don't equal fun which seems to be the main goal now.

If you look at my previous posts I am a fan of permadeath and am pretty much a 7 days to die masochist which is not your main focus and crowd and I know you really don't have to answer this. Also everything I say is because I want this to be better and actually for 'everybody.'

Is there a chance they will ever act less like 'that' and more like they acted in earlier versions. I hate to say it but they acted more liked Zeds in A16 or before, even when they were running in circles. They are lining up for the kill shot, its fish in a barrel. I'd rather see them throwing there soulless corpses into my end game meat grinder and attacking everything before I can trick them into jumping into it then the state they are in now.
Valid opinion. This game is a blend of genres. There are many people who don't care for some specific genre in the game. And you don't care for the tower defense part. (Before you protest, look at a pure tower defense game and notice that the enemy always follows a path to you in those games instead of simply coming from all directions. Putting traps at chokepoints is a central aspect of such games)

Maybe you get your wish and the game gets a zombie AI slider in the end or an option in xml. But I'm hopeful A16 AI will never be the standard again, because in A16 the tower defense was  a snore fest. With that I don't mean necessarily the night itself, but there was no incentive to build anything but a square block.

You maybe shoveled your own grave by the way. If you watch streamers and copy their bases and ideas (with or without exploits) and then complain your tower is too good you practically have cut short your progress in the building meta game.

Yeah, in A18 you can expect on average about 90-100 shotgun shells, a stack of 9mm, and a little over a stack of 7.62 by the first horde night. In A19 so far it seems to be about triple that, or even more. Maybe it's to compensate for lower tier weapons we'll be getting after the stone age, or it's meant for people who dislike mining? Or perhaps simply an unbalance. Regardless, by the time Monday hits and the rest of us mice get to *hopefully* play A19, we can send our feedback as needed. :)

One part of the reason may simply be that they forgot to adapt the loot lists after removing guns from early loot containers. Less guns to be found means more of everything else to be found

EDIT: Just read what some streamers observed and it seems there are other bugs in play as well. Typical labor pains of a new alpha.

So, release date 29th... Any chance we could get you to consider doing that New Zealand time :D  There is a whole world whose Monday 29th will be over when you get there ;)

Silliness aside. I love what Richard affirmed, about the focus on Tower Defense, although it is far more than just that. It is, for me at least, one of the best features that sets 7 Days to die apart from all the other survival/rpg/adventure games. You just don't get anything of this specific blend anywhere else, that I know of. Not on this scale and not on this system and certainly nothing that looks this good.

I am having a hard time containing the hype 😕

I second this.

Having the sweeping laser sight for the shooty turrets is fine, well balanced even, but for the sledge it is kinda silly over-restricted in that way and thus not effective enough as is. It doesn't even need the laser, just have it turn and hit whatever zombo gets within range, from any direction. Almost any fish eye lens, or other reg cams, or even other sensor types, could be enough with some very basic AI to do such a thing irl.
Currently you have to lure the zombies to the front for them to get hit, if it had full 360 you could just stand near it on a nerdpole and win.

Mr. Mole:
the high polygon Blocks like the new Weapon Racks and a lot of others are too expensive for Players to use in masses in their base; you have stated.

Any thoughts in letting the Players creating Makeshift versions of them to use in the base? Some McGuyver stuff that tells the observer its welded together by a Casual and give the base a more "survival/Postapocalyse" look and feel. This could be used for various Blocks like Clothing rack, Shelfes etc so that we players have more variety in detail-decorations without using the polygon rich "professional" versions that we drool over in TFP´s Streams and Pics.

cant wait to loose myself in the details of the new Prefabs when looting btw :)
We are planning on some kind of storage overhaul that gets the player some better storage/labeling/sorting. Maybe an industrial forge. We'll see. I've been playing a lot of minecraft lately and I'll make sure we have enough stuff to hodge podge a lot more things. I'd like to get roof and fence wrap like their stairs and fences have, so making a wedged roof is fun instead of a chore.

I was talking about ramp jump loops. He made a ramp path to himself. There was no jump gap, so the zombies just took the path.
I love these kinds of misunderstandings due to the streamers's take on the release notes. When "sheet" happens they blame it all on The Fun Pimps because it's the logic thing to do nowadays. In reality, it's just Gazz's fault, along with the Coronavirus. He didn't make it scrappable.

@madmole Some of the items stack sizes in the game are quite insufferable (atleast in my opinion) but that aside, are there any plans to revisit this or increase the stack sizes of some items?

Realism aside and bringing quality of life up front in mind

@Faatal

Ai pathing question. In a few of the streams I saw a constant
behavior. The border framing around windows, and the attic stairs
caused the AI to break off tracking the player, and pound on the
border, even though they, and the player can pass through it.

Is that intended, or a collider overlap problem?

Good Sunday Morning! How goes things with everyone, any stream suggestions? I watch Kage and Grumbul. I also watch Glock9, Cap00, and JaWoodle on YT.

the stripper zombie when she comes out!

1 MORE DAY ME BOY!

The "club / bar / night girl zombie" (not really a stripper anymore, but a stripper replacement) will be amazing in the game.

Zombie Steve is my favorite so far, but Zombie Boe and Big Mama are really freaky too.

I just realized that I have 8991 hours played recorded on Steam; meaning I will reach 9000 hours before Alpha 19 is released.

That's so many hours since I started at Alpha 10.1 (was updated to A10.2 a few days later).

Best game ever!!! Thank you Fun Pimps!

I like CrypticFox, BeardedGuysGaming and Games4Kickz. I don't care for either "too excited" or "know it all's" type of streamers. To each our own I guess.

I love Steve as well! the boils on his face makes me sick and I LOVE IT!

I WANNA PLAY! :(

I spotted in a A19 video that the wrenching of car's BUG is back, the car jumps up and down as it gets wrenched.

Also, are we able to shoot barrels again and explode near by zombies ?,.... I really miss that (made up some fun scenarios) as it seemed to be changed in A18.

because the way you play shouldn't be forced on me either there is a difficulty level. If one wants to build and not get his base wrecked turn it lower, if one actually wants to be challenged in the SURVIVAL fantasy zombie apocalypse where stuff actually gets wrecked turn it higher. Asking for more options has been joked about like its a pipe dream when its exactly what it needs.
Exactly, so again my question was "why do you care how others play"?
