Speaking of scaling options, would a gamestage scaling option be available as a feature in the future possibly? (25%, 50%, 67%, 75%, 100%, 150%, 200%, etc.) No complaints coming from me regarding the current gamestage, just thought I'd ask. Besides, if any players were hypothetically unsure of playing a harder difficulty due to faster gamestage, this could fix this? Idk, I'm just talking out of my own hat here. That would just be a damage scaling option. I still think tougher zeds would need multiple headshots.
Concrete needs to use water somewhere imo - it's nearly end game level and i don't see the problem with some extra steps to get there.Mixers definitely need power or fuel yet.
i agree in a way.Concrete needs to use water somewhere imo - it's nearly end game level and i don't see the problem with some extra steps to get there.
Also I have fond memories as a kid using a hand operated mixer for gramps as well as mixing countless yards by hand in a wheelbarrow.
It seems like 99% of the good ideas pitched by the people have already been thought of years ago and or TFP has one that is far better. Goes to show you that TFP were born to make video games. Yah just cannot go wrong placing faith in TFP. Keep up the good work Madmole and the rest of the Pimps.
I'd love that, I always use my forged steel by accident XD My bad too, I shouldn't be walking with those in my pocket. No you would skip all the bs and upgrade everything to the selected material. If concrete is loaded, all wood blocks hit would become wet concrete, all flagstone would also become wet concrete. You set the material and upgrade to it. The only use case different would be steel, it would reject upgrading all but r concrete.
Pois have sleepers so looters still have to work for it so I dont think the problem is that severe. If anything, some incremental changes like MM mentioned may do the trick.MM, people don't want you to make concrete mixing more tedious - they want you to make it more rewarding, which is problematic if it grows on trees, and also overshadows the other materials that usually never get to be used.
agreed. its way to easy! at least for single playerMM, people don't want you to make concrete mixing more tedious - they want you to make it more rewarding, which is problematic if it grows on trees, and also overshadows the other materials that usually never get to be used.
Wouldn't call a few sleepers work, but I wasn't only referring to that. I find myself upgrading from wood straight to concrete, in every playthrough. There are so many different materials and I think it's a shame there isn't a more gradual progression curve.Pois have sleepers so looters still have to work for it so I dont think the problem is that severe. I was about to suggest the mixer working only with electricity for starters, but I hadn't noticed this line, probably because it contained the word "scaling", which I am severely allergic to:Recipe more complex
Yes please...I do think making electricity required for the mixer...
No. Gods. Just no....and maybe scaling block damage with GS would be decent moves.
Don't worry, block health will also scale with player level so it will all even outNo. Gods. Just no.

Not this time. I followed that quote back and it was a from a legit thread created by a user and not one created by me moving posts out of the dev diary.(IIRC, it was originally posted in the dev diary and shortly after that got Rolanded)

We all need a little Roland in our life. =)Not this time. I followed that quote back and it was a from a legit thread created by a user and not one created by me moving posts out of the dev diary.
Also....that thread’s title is not one I would’ve made up for a bunch of extra dev diary fluff.
Finally, getting Rolanded is something very different than what you ascribed. I’d be more specific but Adam is reading these posts and he’s very impressionable. For his sake, we’ll go with his Thanos Snapping euphemism.![]()
I pitched a Roland action figure to TFP when they were brainstorming merchandise ideas-- but they didn't agree with you. =PWe all need a little Roland in our life. =)
Lol that'd be famous for being just about the nerdiest thing _ever_. Heck, TFP should 3D print them, I bet they'd sell at least a dozen.I pitched a Roland action figure to TFP when they were brainstorming merchandise ideas-- but they didn't agree with you. =P
Idk i know a few peoples head that prolly survive a explosion lol. That is with an incorrect assumption that heads would not take damage from explosives.
Hence why the game is boring and many only can play for a bit or play for 5 min then go nope need mods. Not like alphas ago when the game was a leveled plain where you had to actually learn the game and people would be plastered to the game figuring out recipes figuring out different things to make. You can't expect first timers to know stuff, so when a guy with 10k hours experience wants it harder for everyone you have to just roll your eyes.
