Not trying to start crap, but is this just a gimmick to improve fps by shortening draw distance or something else weird or is this an actual attempt to add artistic value?
Its actually going to work, look better and not have endless edge case bugs like windshields and glass not sorting, etc. We're not planning on heavily fogging the game, but there has always been a subtle fog since A1. There still might be "foggy" days, but weather still needs polished to be shippable, but that isn't the focus here, the focus is to get linear lighting working properly and fog was one of many things that had to be changed to work.

Are those new zombies going to completely replacing the current model of zombies or will they be added in addition, or are they going to be those special radiated ones? I know the Wight and Spider models are pretty old so could use a redo, but others might not need to.
Any normal zombie you see that has a glowing green variant will be deleted and some new radiated ones made from the ground up to look mutated will be made to replace them. Probably about 3-4 unique ones, plus cops and wights off the top of my head.

Excellent news.

There is no specific effect on fog but by... being foggy... it reduces the light level and makes you harder to see.
Now what I would like to see is fog dampening environmental background sounds and making enemy noises appear slightly louder to the player. =)
Thanks Gazz.

About the sound effects. I don't understand why you would want to do this. Why would you think that fog would make sounds appear closer than they really are?

Besides, sounds are already like this in the game. I hear a zombies and it sounds right next to me when really it's farther away. As in on the next floor or something.

This is the character of the old Russian cartoon "Hedgehog in the Fog". The cartoon is very strange and in some places scary about how the hedgehog is looking for his friends in the fog =)
Thanks. Does watching this cartoon make you a Communist?

The 'snoring' noise that sleepers make are basically whispering in your ear. I occasionally travel past POI's and hearing these snores and I'm not even inside the building, yet they sound like they are right next to me. It's one of the two audio issues I have personally with sleepers, the other being the lack of footstep noises from sleepers that haven't been hurt yet, or attacked a player.

I am going to read that as: All radiated skins are getting deleted, new mutated zombies are going to be added to the mix to replace the rad zombies and there will be a mutated version of the wight and cop. Sounds like a good plan to me, I am liking it.

Question.

Do you plan to add all kinds of buffs to all the food the player cooks? For example, a different duration of the "metabolism" buff or other useful buffs. Especially if these recipes require some rare ingredients such as eggs.

Reasoning (can be ignored)

Now food is mainly different in how much it reduces thirst or hunger. Exceptions are special recipes.

In the end, it turns out that I just choose one or two simple recipes for the whole game and use the other extremely rarely or not at all, since their advantages are not enough motivation to find the ingredients for their creation.

An example of such recipes is pumpkin pie and blueberry pie. To create them, you need eggs that cannot be grown in the garden.

And the effects of these recipes are the same as those of others, which require more affordable products, such as meat, fat, potatoes, corn, mushrooms, etc.

Since we cant get a proper Firefighters helmet...how about a halligan. Versatile tool that can be used in game for killing zombies and opening up do0rs, windows, etc....A step up from the axe!!!
