melee and hitbox:
I finally figure out why melee felt off now.
straight up stab through the Zed into the wall behind him. what even is hitbox :biggrin-new: ? This is why people miss with the spear throw.
feel like that section should be in bug report.

Glancing blow: IMO, get rid of glancing damage but keep the collision trajectory from it, so the full swing arc dealt full damage if the swing came in contact with the zed, you don't have to have the crosshair on the zed.
animation: the spear are good reach gameplay wise, but the animation make it feel like you're stabbing with a knife. maybe extend the animation reach a bit more
same with the fireaxe, it have a very good reach, but the animation feel slightly short.
weapon:
-spear, IMO the spear could use some penetration with it default attack. like penetrate 2-3 zombies max with perk.
-knife, I'm not even looking at the zombie and I can dealt damage to zombies at my 10:00~2:00 range with default attack
-machete, all good here
-clubs/bat, animation need some work. default attack just suddenly stop mid way feel very weird. Maybe make all attack have the heavy attack animation, but upon hit, stop midway like default attack. Make heavy attack have a little windup before attack to differentiate the two attack.
bat need more beefier sound.
-knuckles, all good here
-sledge hammer, see glancing blow.
-m60, QOL, allow reflex sight mod
-compound crossbow, QOL, repeater mod, allow to reload a clip of 5 bolt.
-fireaxe, all good.
looting: very early game should probably drop more of tier 3 weapons/tool parts or schematic, not straight up the actual item, tier 2 should be fine right now. early~mid game there should be more tier 3 weapons/tool item, but it should be generally lower quality than tier 2 drops.
E.g
early game : primative bow Q 5-6, iron pick axe, quality 1~2. steel tool part
early mid game: wooden bow Q 3-4, iron pick axe Q 3-4. Steel pick axe Q1-2
mid game: current build, with a little less Q1~3
but sound like TFP team still wanna wait to see if the current looting is balance.
farming: the resource requirement felt a bit steep, I know MM don't want everyone to have a giant farmland at day 1, but maybe the cost could be lower a bit.
Mining: feel like there a tad too much lead node and not enough nitrate.
fps: I've already put my AF to x2 and get a stable 60fps most of the time (still down from 80fps since A17.4), but the desert mountain still eat 20fps when ever I'm looking at one
perks:
huntman and animal tracker, felt like it either should be combine or at least under the same tree.
furry of blows, feel like this should be build into the other weapon perk, so you're more specialize when perking into those weapon skill.
