The only problem is that US citizens can not work with that because it means moving the decimal point left or right and that way lies the metric system, an unknown place of danger and madness.
If 10 raw iron took 1.773 wood to smelt that would probably be easier. =P
I doubt that'd work either, as I understand it nearly 7 out of 5 Americans have trouble with fractions as well.

Compliments on the manufacturers of these military uniforms... quite resilient...., but main reason Im here is, give another compliment to the level designers. Had real fun with this one, felt very immersive though bit creepy haha.

Though sadly, Adam is right, it's the incompetent teaching that's really to blame. Lots of good teachers, but by no means all of them, yet our school 'system', decade after decade keeps getting worse and fails to own that simple fact.

Sry, this is waaay OT but;

I overheard a couple guys chatting at lunch a while back, sounded like they were involved with the school district, so I asked them why it is that so many young folks can't count change (I'd just had that happen at counter).

Turns out one was the school districts 'science studies coordinator'; yeah, like WTF??

He said that todays kids need to learn "concepts", they don't need to know 'how to do math in their heads' because everyone has a calculator. And it's much more important for them to know how to 'effectively search for information', not get bogged down in 'rote memorization'.

Edit: to be clear, he was -defending- high schoolers inability to count _change_

No bull. I was completely floored.

BTW are we looking to more experimental fixes, or we are getting public release next ?

You story really shows how our society is falling. Everyone is looking for Way out, not do the basic. Once we start to learn basic, we don't need to look for wayout.

That's a universal thing I think. I'm often amazed (here in Australia) at the number of times vendors I might deal with have to resort to the cash register to calculate even the simplest of change amounts.

I also recently had to report a swastika scratched into my car, only to have the 20-something cop at the counter ask me what a swastika was....(and no, I don't think the culprits intended its original meaning either).

Nothing we or anyone else can do about it. Future generations will have to adapt.

@MM, why was the barbed wire removed from the craft? The barbed fence is completely useless against the wild. The barbed fence is 2.5 times more useless than the barbed wire.

Sadly, all things are forgotten with time.

Because the barbed wire was OP and cheesy.

So we have or the barbed wire ( OP and cheesy ) or the barbed fence is completely useless against the wild =) Nice )))

I'm using a hammer strength row machine if that helps you believe. https://twitter.com/joelhuenink/status/1186485660737142784?s=20

Here's a vid of me squatting 435x12.

Here is what I looked like in 2018 before wrecking my shoulders and elbows. Trying to get back to that now.

EDIT: I can shoot a rowing vid tomorrow, its back day.

I get stronger nearly every workout, even when cutting, but its slower progress. I don't do anything special, 2 sets to complete failure where I can (Not squats obviously), with a static hold for 10s (not all the time) on most lifts. 2-3 exercises per body part. More when bulking for size. I don't even care about strength, all I care about is size, but its weird I lift as much as some pro bodybuilders, but lifting natty for 30 years and you'll be doing some impressive stuff, especially if your consistent.
I wonder if I wrenched that squat machine would I get forged iron ? 🤔

Jk but is your gym really in game somewhere ? Lol I could’ve sworn I saw a post saying that.

Well, that was a really good argument for why it is not craftable. =)
And now I argue, what is the point of mines again? :p The zombies avoid them like the plague, they're expensive and only provide one kill per, and you're more likely to step on them than the zombies. :p

I'm confused as to why that couldn't be understood outside the metric system

I know zombies AI don’t strictly path to doors anymore. I’m still trying to figure out if they path to the weakest block or just the block closet to you. Sorry if it was in the patch notes lol

My new game rocks! Settled near a trader in the pine forest just near a nitrite node. Turns out that mine contains nitrate, coal and lead!

Also got the gyrocopter accessoires schematic from the trader for completing tier 1 quest at the second day

Assuming you're not trolling Ganeden :) ; it's because when they tried to convert America to Metric they touted, "It's easily divisible by 10!", so Gazz was making fun of the not uncommon American knee jerk reaction to "dividing by 10" being "Evaaaal!!".

If american auto makers hadn't basically been forced to adopt Metric due to non US part suppliers, well, you wouldn't be able to find a metric wrench in the states.

Doubt it's been even ten years since Home Depot started selling plywood in millimeters. Again, foreign suppliers forcing it on us poor 'mericans! :faint:

Edit: and that's only the plywoods thickness, not the larger X n Y, which is still almost exclusively 4 by 8 _feet_

"This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel..."

I'm laughing so hard I'm cryin...

I haven't seen this mentioned, but is anyone else seeing REALLY red desert sunsets, almost like a horde night? The forest biome seems fine, but the desert sunsets are way too overbearing.

(I never saw desert in my first playthough so I don't know if its been like this in all a18 or not.

I love the smooth transitions from day to night, and the sun coming up and the moving shadows when the load starts up.

Im only happy when everything is metric. Including the clocks.

Please don't take away the Jack o lanterns.
Though for Christmas I want Zombie Santa Claus that always drops a sack of goods. A Christmas tree and every trap from Home Alone for my BM base.

Few months away but wouldn't it be funny if the airdrop went from a plane to a santa sleigh and the drop was a red sack instead of a box. And hearing sleigh bells is a must.
