Look at the item stats.
Ya, I did. It says "Light Armor Bonus" for mining helmet, but the guy said he had points in light armor but could still only craft a lvl1. I was thinking it was heavy armor before a17 but maybe I am remembering incorrectly.

More importantly though, is this toggle ADS thing ever going to change back? With hunting rifle you cannot manually control aiming now. If you take one shot with aiming down sight you are locked in to that mode until you cancel. Tap to toggle, hold to manual ADS was so much better. Or even no toggle would be better than having to cancel an animation every time you want to move around in between shots.

Look at the item stats.
In the previous version, I found a SWAT Helmet in loot with a helmet light mod already installed. In the current build, I found another SWAT Helmet without a helmet light attached. Is there a chance for SWAT Helmets to come with a helmet light mod attached, or was that a bug and fixed in this current version of unstable?

As far as I know, you can't flip the wood spikes in the game now over and lay them down so they are flat and the zombies barely damage them as they pass. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
The log spikes lasted longer, but did less damage. However, they are still available through the creative menu, with developer blocks on. And, i don't see their OPness, so, it have to they was removed because of their look.

edit:

Disclaimer: Video is of actual 7d2d content, testing log spikes vs wood spikes. No voice though.

Its been suggested before. I hate it in rust and their weapons are generic af compared to ours. Maybe as an option, but it would require a fair bit of work because if it downgraded to the next color, we'd have to lock out a mod. How do you decide which mod to lock? I suppose bottom to the top so players put their least desirable mod in the bottom or something. We'd have to communicate why its like that, etc. Its quite a bit of work for something we don't need IMO. Again, its just a matter of balance.
maybe remove mods before you can repair.. then the player has to decide which to leave out?

Quality tells you how many mod slots you can have on an item, stats are random though.
1,2,2,3,3,4 modslots for quality 1,2,3,4,5,6

so a t2 and a t3 have the same modslots

and? its actually 1,1,2,2,3,4 right? But it still tells you how many mod slots you get regardless of how it is structured correct?

Just had a particularly heartbreaking end to a permadeath run... Amazing seed, great early loot, and a nice defensible POI (the small undertakers place) across the road from the trader.

I hole up in the top floor of the house, night comes, and I hear a naughty zombie come banging on the gates outside. I run down to shoot him, and wake up the bajillion damn zombies hiding in the graves outside. They tore through the doors in no time. Riparoni :(

Cowboy zombies are way tougher and faster than you think they are...

the point is how many mod slots you get or a lower quality item is better than a higher one?

Then make the quality to display modslots only since its random (all but the durability)

Looking better, noticed a big difference in Screamer Spawn since 1st XP & previous Alphas...

Saw the fix, I think it had to do with the cool down time...

Anyway it does not make sense. I agree to a formula like:t1=10-12dmg , t2=13-15dmg etc etc

Find me 1 game that a better quality item is worse than the same item in lower quality...name only 1

It is misleading and confusing.

Diablo 3

I've got more but you said name only one :)

Just because washing machines these days are more advanced and maybe more powerful than washing machines from 30 years ago, they won't last nearly as long as their predecessors. In other words, don't think that a new gun necessarily is of the best quality; a hundred year old hunting rifle might be better. (Yes, this can apply to IRL as well.)

pre-reaper of souls yes and they say that reaper of souls "FIXED" the game for a reason ;p+ you can not craft items in diablo ;p
Er, you can absolutely craft things in diablo and they have random stats. And it's the same in Reaper of Souls.

yeah but the 100y old washing machine is not the same model as a new one......so apples and oranges imo

We are talking about a game that you have 2 items with the same name and the 1st is quality 1 and the 2nd is 2 quality with max quality 6

If quality 2 is worse than quality 1 then whats the point? its the same as if they have no quality because eevry time i must go to my inventory....remove the mods of the item i use to compare it to the new one...
