Is the sell price discrepancy between whole items and item parts intended? For instance, a level 1 stun baton sells for 12 dukes, but can be scrapped for 3 parts which sell for 90 dukes.

Yep, they need to build a real economy. Selling leather worths better than crafting a mantle and selling it.

Hey, I would be perfectly happy if they separated out the rage mechanic and made it its own slider. Here is what my ideal options suite for difficulty would be:

Difficulty Slider: Only affects how quickly gamestage ramps up.

Zombie HP Slider: How hard it is to kill Zombies

Zombie Entity Damage Slider: How hard it is for zombies to kill you

Zombie Block Damage Slider: Already exists!

Zombie Rage Slider: Percent Chance for zombie rage to occur upon being damaged

In that other thread I was only pointing out that the CURRENT slider for zombie rage is the difficulty slider and people should use it if they don't like rage.

 
And I have no issue with that at all... its experimental, after all.
Honestly, in order to ee the new progression changes, I'll probably have to start a new game up anyway, but I'm liking me 66day + game, so I'll keep that.

Hmm. Tbh I'm not 100% sure, however you can try something like Nvidia Control Panel - Adjust desktop size and position - No scaling - perform scaling on/off : GPU. It could be that your GPU is scaling your resolution based on your desktop resolution because it's not native (the game) compared with your desktop. Worst case, you can simply change your desktop resolution to whatever you want it to be in-game, and it shouldn't mess with scaling then. Play around with it - if you break something, wait 30 seconds or so, if you don't click "Yes" to the "Keep these settings?" question it'll revert back. Even if you get a black screen saying unsupported settings or whatever.

That's an oversight. Neither Madmole nor Gazz will let that stand for long.

Why tell me how 2 play? If I want to spend time, putting work in , scrapping items , to get better trader deals - then I should be able to. If you don’t want to do it then don’t! Why ruin it for the rest of us! I bought 20 copies for Friends and run a discord with 300 people - we all agree!!!

@Fatal I can confirm what another person mentioned about cpu load on idle server. I rent a server from Bluefang. Every new game version, I wipe the server & reload which only takes 5 minutes. On A17, after map generation, no players on the server....cpu load was 1-3%. With A18, every experimental version post map generation, no players, cpu load anywhere from 5-10%. If there’s anything else I can supply, let me know. The server runs just fine, no problems, just surprised the load is that high.

Lol! Duh, because by you scrapping the items yourself you saved the traders the effort to do it themselves! Time is money, amirite?

honestly, makes 100% sense IMO as well Jugginator. thats liek auto body.

1000$ paint a hood lets say, but if I spend 4 hours sanding it it cost 600. makes sense

I bought 5 million copies for myself. And I say they should add dinosaurs, demons and Battle Royale mode. Buh-bye

I agree and as soon as they make the scrapping timer last 4 hours we will all be seeing eye to eye.

 
WIth B149, crafting went from almost useless to too good. I have a suggestion:

* Revert crafting quality to B143, with no random stats;

* Add an option to attempt to craft an item at a one higher quality;

* Make the 1-higher items have random stats, but have the "worse" range be bigger than the "better" range, significantly;

* Make 1-higher crafting prone to fatal failure, losing the materials for no gain;

* Make 1-higher "better" range exceed loot range.

That should keep the focus on looting what you need instead of crafting what you need, but allow people to spend an uncertain amount of time and resources to get something truly unique through crafting.

 
It could be nice if repair was added to the dial menu of repairable items, or a hotkey that could do the same.

IE: r for normal reload, and shift+r for repair. Or another key.

Lol! Yeah I was being sarcastic but I do suppose that makes sense. But still, tbh the already crafted version should sell for more than the scrap parts or at least equal for level 1 stuff.
