We could allow t6 crafting but we'd enable random stats. Imagine rolling the dice of 18 parts to see what you got?
However works best, but I really would like to see a "reason" to craft in that way, but still maintain the need to loot mods and such.

Mining does provide a challenge. You just haven't realized it yet. Its called time management. For every second your getting coal, iron etc you aren't gathering brass, you aren't making your walls 3 meters thick, you aren't finding that gun that does 20% more damage than the one you have, you don't have AP ammo unlocked yet, etc.
Not everything in the game should kill players. Anyhow keep going and let me know how it goes. Turn up the difficulty if you want :)

Actually, you're describing a single player game (which makes sense, that's how you play). However, in a MP game, there is usually someone(s) dedicated to each of those roles. So that's where things (apparently) are falling apart for him. So I think it is possibly (I haven't played enough to have an opinion yet), an SP vs. MP thing.

I honestly don't think a drop in loot is the answer, or even a drop in loot at all. I think bringing back degradation is in order. Sure, fix your weapon, but it drops a quality level.
...don't think that would pair well with the random stats though.

I think we need more things to shoot at. Things that would make sure we don't have 5 days to mine.
Regarding horde nights, I can think of 2 potential ideas. Just dont know if it's hard or easy to implement.

1) Tie in number of players near each other + their GS to determine the total number of zeds BM. If this is already being done, increase the multipler somewhere.

2) Add a calculation that triggers another horde or bigger challenge (higher reward?). The trigger can be the following (if total zeds remaining = 0 and remaining BM time is >= 2 hours)

The thing is I remember Fataal or Gazz mention that they switch it up with the zombie ai so it a bit more random (don't quote me on this). Instead I had a whole horde punching a single block after a little while. Maybe I remember wrong and they meant future alpha, hence I want to confirm it again with a staff.
I died because I honestly wasn't expecting a17.4 engineer zombies again plus that was the first 7th day so I didn't expect much and only got a double layer wall up. Gonna have to check this out in my test world. The reason I hate "smart" zombie is I can set it up and it become duck hunt. In fact I've already made a drop trap in my test world (because they're fun to mess with).
The key word there is random. I've watched many BMs of A18 and seen them do a variety of things as intended.

I'll talk to Prime about improving it.
Mine street lights, power line thingy, gunsafes and the iron chest I think, oh and the army munitions box for steel :)
Awesome these got put in, and I'd think a simple check box on the left would cover all instances.

New update seems to be an improvement so far. Even with the new msi rtx 2060 z, at 1080p on ultra I saw drops down onto the teens outdoors before the patch with full textures on.

I haven't seen that yet, but it seemed to occur after playing an hour or so.

Btw, is there just a patch notes on what changed in this patch?

Oh, also a scrapped gun part has a big question mark icon, like the old loot placeholder things in a17 (I think) I'll screenshot it.

Looks awesome, but... Is that going to increase the poly count of all zombie models and have an impact on performance?
I doubt it, the underlying topology of old and new look pretty similar, the only difference would be the materials

That might be a good end game feature!

I like the workbench needs to be used for 100% repairs.

also yesterday i was attacked by a large vulture. is that a dire vulture?
it was as big as a minibike
That would be the radiated vulture. No he does not glow like other radiated zeds.

We're probably going to add an option like "Blood moon size", 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 150%, 200%, 250%, etc.
I LOVE this idea, but why not just allow a user to input the percentage number up to 250? Since it's just a multiplier, that offers the most flexibility.

Something about hearing the trader horn saying "Trader Joel's is now open" makes me feel less alone too :)
The junk turret does the same for me, and I really want to name it, and have the name hover over it when deployed.

I started a new RWG game for the new build. FPS is up a bit (but I was at 80+ in the previous build, so...), but more importantly, memory usage is down and GPU load is down by about 30%. Great job on the optimizations so far!

I got a great start in this save, too. This screenshot is after looting the first POI I came to, about 60m from where I spawned. It's still day 1 in this shot, around 7pm.

No its for baking a normal map that fakes all those details in for free.

I haven't really talked with any programmers about that specifically so I'm not sure what is possible without too many headaches.
