I guess I'm not understanding the INT build. Perking into the junk turret should keep it viable otherwise it's pointless to perk into it. If the perks affect all turrets then I could understand why.
it is a good weapon... it just shouldnt replace or even be close to the better electric turrets and (just me not others obviously) shouldnt be the weapon of all weapons... what i see so far from using all weapons is that Every weapon has its place and MM and team are tuning as they go so nothing is 1000% set and can change. :)

 
What? I love the 4x4, I go out for 3 days and loot and loot and loot. All the other vehicles I have to go home and drop gear off every day.
Okay, what am I missing about the 4x4 then? It only has like one or two more rows of storage than the motorcycle, right? Is there storage expansion options in the game that I have not found yet maybe?

I don't want the junk turret to be OP either. It definitely had it's uses in MM last video. I just don't want my points used on a perk that becomes useless later on. Perhaps weapon mods are the way to go to increase capacity but requires some motivation to find them and a little bit of luck.

 
I have always enjoyed playing 7D2D, and after taking a small break from the game glad to back to playing it daily.

I know that A18 is lock, but have a question for Dev team. Is there any plan to put in some kind of sound detection/direction aspect to the game. As of A17.4 sounds from a zombie seem to come from all around, and not from one direction. Simple form of the question would be.

"If a zombie is in the house in front of me moaning and breaking down the door. The sound come from in front of me or behind me if I was facing the other way."

There's quite a few changes to RWG. Check the first page. I think there's a pretty good list. As for Navez, I haven't read about any specifics yet.

Some changes to RWG that are not on the first page I think I remember reading about:

Improved road mapping

Less duplicate POIs

Each town should have all unique POIs

I'm sure I'm missing some

Edit: at least 70 new POIs

 
I have a feeling someone got mad that his granades were not exploding when he wanted them to *cough Madmole cough* so it was rage changed. ;)
Naw but for real though, I'm guessing MM did not like the physics or feel of the granades so as a quick fix this instant explosion was introduced. Then again maybe its just a bug that crept in, the possibilities are endless.
Didnt MM mention previously contact grenades is something you unlock later. I dont think it was a change based on his previous horde night.

 
@ Joe thanks for copying what ive already read, dont see how decorations and a better looking mountain is RWG specific.

@ Falloutcloud Thats more what i was after, 70 new POIs sounds cool. Glad to say bye to the radio tower cities lol.

I only ask because each update im torn between starting in rng or navez. and imo a17 rwg was abit of a mess

I've seen in the video you can chain grenade explosions without activating them. (Madmole throws a grenade without pulling the pin, then he throws another one correctly and both grenades go off).

The question is: Can you make the unpinned grenades go off by shooting them?

 
Hey Madmole,

any chance of turrets being able to be mounted upside down hanging from the ceiling or other structures?

Would be nice if they won't block your catwalk.

Imagine putting 5 grenades in the floor waiting for the Demolisher to pass through, you shoot them on point and all of the sudden there is no more demolisher. Ta-da! Magic

In that last paragraph, you're mistaken. I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of a16 and I can tell you with no uncertainty that every space in your backpack was open from day 1. You may be remembering early preview videos of a17 when the original idea was to lock encumbrance slots rather than be slowed down by having them filled. A16 didn't have encumbrance slots or bonus slots that could be unlocked with a perk, but it did have a smaller backpack.
Strange. It seems you are correct. But I distinctly remember actually having to buy inventory space. Could it be that some mod had it in A16?
