Have you been playing Ravenhearst because many of your questions/requests/ideas seem to come straight from there.maybe a there could be a crowbar that you could uses that breaks doors(of any kind) and safes faster
179 Coins per unitThat is so yesterday's news. You craft a furniture block now, and those sell for maybe 20 dukes. You can't sell a "picnic table" any more, you make a furniture block and it can be any furniture item in the build menu. So the build menu helped streamline funky recipes and bloated prices.
Honestly? I'd start from scratch with a 2.8 update. There have been so many fixes that I'm not entirely sure an old UMA would work without a bit of jiggery-pokery. On the plus side, 2.8 is a lot easier to work with and more efficient than the old system.I doubt it but we had to customize (fix) it so much that might be a nightmare.
iv never Played it I don't even know how to put mods lolHave you been playing Ravenhearst because many of your questions/requests/ideas seem to come straight from there.
Do you then buy helper blocks from the trader instead of e.g. rebar frames ?That is so yesterday's news. You craft a furniture block now, and those sell for maybe 20 dukes. We almost never have the build number increase for nothing. Someone manually changes the version file and commits to make a build. Most of our builds have 10 to 30 changes. That number was visible in MM's video. Just saying. And as MM said .. not important. Yesterday I was trying a new packaging method in my code and we jump build number from 20 to 50 in 40 minute.. without adding a new feature. Sometime build number jump on just a label change too...
What ??!! This is real bad news. All my RP was based on selling furniture (I play a carpenter) and TFP just destroyed everything I liked in this game. As a customer (I bought hundreds of copies of the game for friends, and even strangers) I feel totally ripped off. That is so yesterday's news. I'm fairly certain all monetary exploits have been solved.179 Coins per unitbut I agree this is not new, at the time it was the concrete block
EA in the nutshell@Hek Harris
I'm sorry but carpentry will probably be a DLC. And termites a DLC for the DLC.
Well we can have a look, but everyone hates UMA because its difficult to work with and creates this horrible unoptimized skin that can't stream. Textures needed flagged not as a normal map even though its a normal map, etc. The list of bs was huge. We cleaned it up and made it better to work with, but who knows what a can of worms it would be to try the new one. We're more keen on writing our own system that is more like Fallout4's character system. Doesn't waste texture space, doesn't build atlases at run time and cause lag, etc.Honestly? I'd start from scratch with a 2.8 update. There have been so many fixes that I'm not entirely sure an old UMA would work without a bit of jiggery-pokery. I'm currently trying to strap together the mesh from MakeHuman with an UMA rig so that I can have a unified gender-fluid mesh. It should also allow me to have some less than politically correct characters such as masculine transvestites.
No you craft helper blocks. There are still some weirdo pieces for sale at traders but most of those can go bye bye if I get my radial pickup entity system I want.Do you then buy helper blocks from the trader instead of e.g. rebar frames ?
LOL. Yes of course, termite options, we'll get right on that. What ??!! This is real bad news. All my RP was based on selling furniture (I play a carpenter) and TFP just destroyed everything I liked in this game. As a customer (I bought hundreds of copies of the game for friends, and even strangers) I feel totally ripped off.Would it be too much to ask for an option for that ???
And um ... an option also for termites to dig / not dig into the wood. I like the challenge of termites, but not in the woods, damn!
Dang. Not fair.
You should try it, simply down load the mod launcher and select Ravenhearst, press the sync button once downloaded and play game, very straight forward, I'm no expert on PC (55 years old not at all techy)iv never Played it I don't even know how to put mods lol
