That is already how it woks and in fact there are wood Spears, iron spears, and steel spears all with progressively tougher recipes.

I reckon he probably is, but I haven't personally conducted a Turing test on him. Hell, I can never even tell if the person on the other end of the phone line is real, so don't ask me.what is roland a human or ai im confused lol
Ha, chill, he def human. The fact that you even started to believe otherwise is hilarious, like a reverse Turing Test. Trust me I have been working in robotics for 20 years, dealt with chatbots even longer, and the guy who makes the robot Sophia is a long time friend of mine. Even she has human writers, lots of them, he might be my friend but I know for a fact that robot is little more than advanced animatronics, occasional bits of AI, but by far it is still scripted and written by humans, and tons of people still believe it.no im sure hes a human most definetly is im getting kinda creeped out
lol that's funny
Uh, she's not really though, that was my point. David is an artist, he's showing the world his vision of the future, he wants people to see and believe it, but it is not real yet. She has little to no active AI, especially during important interviews and stuff. The most honest way to categorize her is as a puppet. He/they are into AI, yes, and he wants it to be what you think it is, so they might get there, closer anyway. But for the most part it is pure illusion, she is a character. This same illusion could have been pulled off decades ago, he has been making robots like that for decades. His Philip K. ♥♥♥♥ android was one of my favorites, and that was over 15 years ago.you got me that's for sure you really worked with them that long damn and sophai shes getting scary smart
yeah I think roland and madmole are good moderators as well they can have a little joke and don't really complicate stuffI think Roland is one of the best moderators, not only on this site, but on the global Internet. I'm sinsere.
Also I respect Madmole a lot for his open and passionate communication, without all this PR bull♥♥♥♥. I like it how he can say 'fokk you' to me or get a hate post in return, and it will not end in ban (if the message was valid and not a troll post). We all been on those websites with 'We're working on improving the game to make it the best game for the best experience for your entertainment' PR empty phrases that say nothing and are actually a disrespect to the fans. I maybe post rare, but I come to this thread many times a day and actually it is the only site that actually gives me joy. And hope.
And I hate Gazz, I have a huge respect for him, but still..
lol, it bleeped out that authors name... but, that's his dang name. Ha, the forum bleeper code is not even decent AI, it is AS, artificial stupidity. It's the guy who wrote Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, the book Bladerunner was based on. His last name is unfortunately the same word as male genitalia, but this "AI" ain't got much "I" yet.... His Philip K. ♥♥♥♥ android was one of my favorites, and that was over 15 years ago.
Anyway, we're way off topic... read quickly cause this is probably all getting flushed away... gotta keep Sophia's secret![]()
What kind of question is that?More work for the same outcome?
You kinda already have a radar for airdrops, they show up on the map and on your compass up top. Why would you ever need an extra device. Gonna work no matter if you are underground or not. Just turn it on dude, it's not cheating and it's always on in games I play. I sure would not want to be bothered with making yet another device for just for that. Nah, I am solidly with MM on this one, great example of him keeping a leash on feature creep. What kind of question is that?...following your wonderful logic, there could be an option to have all weapon mods in the beginning of the game. Whay do all that "work" to find them?

I'm just thinking option vs gameplay.
By default the option is off so it feel like a bit of cheating and making it too easy. But if you're mining when it lands, you ming never be able to find it. Having a scanner, that you can find, is a good middle ground and cool gameplay...
Oh hell yeah, a faster wrench-like tool like that would be amazing!I think its best to have some separation between weapons and tools, so preparation is a thing. I forgot my wrench because I put all my tools away during horde night and when I didn't have it there was a consequence. But yes maybe a cordless impact wrench would be awesome for salvaging.
So you would not have tou turn that option on like a wuss and instead would work for the convenience of having them on your map.You kinda already have a radar for airdrops, they show up on the map and on your compass up top. Yeah, it is not the worst idea, I've thought about it some more. Though I think whatever that device would be should work for more than just airdrops, that might justify it. Like a scanner that can be tuned to different things in the world. I've played a few survival games that have devices like that, usually for finding ore deposits. Just don't think with the way things are now, and having that option to mark them available already, it's going to get into their to do list without some other reason for it. Def not for A18 anyway. But I am thinking about the concept more now, what else such a scanner/locater device could be used for.So you would not have tou turn that option on like a wuss and instead would work for the convenience of having them on your map.
It's not a big deal at all. I'm just pointing out that there could be cool gameplay instead of an option that toggles too easy / too hard.
