How about taking nests off of the ground entirely (or mostly?) and putting them on rooftops? With vultures, of course. It would have the added benefit of making it less appealing to bypass the dungeon POIs by climbing to the roof and cutting through to the loot room.
Rooftops are already loaded with vulture sleepers and nests.

For A18? In A17 there are a couple of POIs that I know I encounter vultures on... three that I can think of off the top of my head, but my general impression is that most roofs are vulture-free.

In my experience roofs tend to be among the safest places in the game.

Yes it would have to be new zombies have special abilities, like spiders, fat cops, screamers, the new demolisher, etc.
Wait did we just get a reveal on what the new special zombie will be? A demolisher? Or did I miss the memo...

Sorry, psychopharmaka to make you forget your past are not part of the game loop. The old days of playing without knowing every nook of the game are definitely over (for you, me and almost everyone else in this forum)
PS: We are talking about resource bundles now. Is that ok for you? Not too boring?

:cocksure:
No still boring, the game changes very little to what stack bundles are, if it was to stay the same or change i could not care less because wont stop or change my way of playing just like food wont :smile-new:

Spears are awesome, hope I can use them even in lategame where I can sneak quiet and meet the zeds with their maker one by one, without too much noise, picking it up after every throw.

At night.

I did it already. I came up with an idea for vulture POIs that spawn in wilderness where it could be a few corpses, crash site, junk pile, some bushes, etc. THe point is nests would be here but the vultures would be too. Then you can slowly starve to death on nests in the wild, but if you want more eggs you need to fight for them. Risk and reward.
dont forget Murhy's Law!

the newbie (the one who never played the game) will need feathers for starter quest and yes i have had some fresh games where i couldnt find a damn nest in the starter area. :) (me and Murphy go way back)

but... how about a rotten egg that cant be eaten?

Would like to see the same idea... but with snakes.

I'm thinking 4 or 5 to get rank 1.
I like the stuff I'm reading. Also, 1 skill point for tier 6 quest's reward instead of an item would be sweet. That way it wouldn't cap the completionist/minmaxer/grindy player type but it would take tons of weeks to get there.

Also, the 17.2/.3 "kill X animals" quests are , for a lack of a better term, worthless and boring at the same time because they give very little XP and no skill point. Before, they were time consuming but they eventually got you a nice reward ; now, they are a piece of paper.

I understand they felt like passive grindy stuff and for some reason they remembered me of the athletics skill in Oblivion where you got better by running and couldn't possibly turn it off. In this case your read that quest and you just wait until life gets you there without any thought. That's why I suggest that little tweak to the rewards of very high tier quests.

Or there could be 1 book that gives you 1 skill point and sells for little and is only found in final loot or in yellow bags of the very best bosses.

Well, there is much potential for minmaxers, but I`m trying for our cause while you focus on more pressing matters, because I firmly believe we will be heard eventually. Let us waste 1000s of hours getting all the skills with effort and a fulfilling gameplay if we really want to.

The direction of the game is the correct one, and I must say this: I don`t like Conan very much, nor Ark. They have already capped their core gameplay and they lack in some very clear aspects (grind, purpose, past-content fun). This game though, and the promises that are being revealed for it are much more compelling and close to a true dream: puttingBethesda Game Studio games to shame and showing that money and lack of fixes and love generates lacky and halfassed products.

3 years until gold? 4 million design choices? bring it on. Make alpha 20 a dlc and I'm selling my house to play it.
