I agree the current situation sucks and the required recipes makes any farming REQUIRE either luck in finding recipes, or investment into the endurance tree (at least down to LotL 2).  Because yup, my toughness determines if i can figure out how to farm. As far as the numbers go, they're fine...

Personally, with some of those T5 POIs, even with the path crafted out by them already, it can be really hard sometimes to clear ENOUGH that the final "yellow" dots show up showing you your last couple sleeper volumes.  There are enough minor dead end side paths with one sleeper volume in them...

But you already had that....as long as you weren't planting just 1 or 2 of a given plant, you had a reliable profit from LotL1. 2 plants give 1 seed and 8 crops.  turn 5 of those crops into a seed and you have 2 plants that give 2 seeds and 3 crops..  You could even break even with appallingly...
