Are there any xbox series x players on this game that would want to have a bit of company online ?

I'm too old as well like for COD etc, gaming most of my adult life and nearly 50, I'm on xbox (jarlathelalto) just trying to get my head round this game, crafting is done in real time, so you have to do something else while you're waiting on something to craft, but love the game

I've started this game a few weeks ago for the first time,(solo) and honestly cant leave the controller down (xbox series x) and now ive took the step to play online, I just want to know what are the chances of just stumbling upon another player or players base ?

 When I put my farm plot block down on top of my horde base  it placed ok, (green outline) and then when I went to plant something there was a pink outline but still planted, what does the pink outline mean ? 

What are the mods that are very useful to have on the impact driver ? 

how can you be a sniper in the game if you can't lie prone ? 

I mean you start with a weapon at one and keep that weapon and upgrade it like on other games to 6 etc 

I take it you can't upgrade weapons but just mod them ? 

Where is or is the best place to harvest a jar of acid

what's the 4gb update today for ?

I'm new to this game as just a couple of weeks,  have only played single player to find out the mechanics of the game, in multi player do other players attack your base /loot your gear etc ?

That's the third update in 2025 ?
