    If my memory serves me correctly, and it very well might not, it is an abbreviation of "considers", as in the mob you are looking at considers you hostile. I've seen this before but can't remember where. Might have been Everquest or something of that ilk a long time ago.

    My guess is blowing ash storms. Possibly just massively reducing visibility. Taking damage seems inappropriate given biome difficulty level. But that's just my guess. 🤷‍♂️
