  • are other mods compatible with the wasteland mod? I would hate to have to delete my other mods like 45 of them, other than that the mod looks awesome.

    I fckin Kill sombody!!! I tryd speed up Duster, bcs its annoying. Heli is faster. By add trust and its bearly flying, then i tryd other things and its dissapear every time. Im tired of this. How to modify it to twice speed. I dont have much time to play, and everythings not working

    I have been tinkering with your vehicles mod for my server.

    I am basically making a "light" version of it. My group is mostly new to 7days, so we only wanted some of the vehicles and did not want so many options and a large download.

    I got it down to a 397MB download using modlauncher. I removed the vehicles with no interior (black windows) and the old versions of the vanilla vehicles.

    I started adding a progression as well. For the motorcycles it goes Vanilla Motorcycle -> Junker -> Rat -> Cruiser, with the Dirtbike on the side as a more maneuverable offroad option that is only faster than the Vanilla Motorcycle. Each bike goes a little faster and has a little more torque, with increased crafting costs. 

    I have two questions:

    1. Do you have the unity files available so I can tinker with the mass/weight of the Dirtbike? (I am also just learning about 7D2D modding, so I don't know what all is configured in the unity asset).

    2. What is your policy on altering your mods for re-release? (If I decided to release my own overhaul with some of your vehicles included, giving credit to you).

    You aren't allowed to directly modify my assets. Also can't send assets like Unity stuff to other people as it's a paid asset I'm pretty sure. Part of the license. You can have an xml modlet that tweaks values of my stuff, but that's kind of it. At this point I just tell people to link to my mod as a requirement if they wanna make an overhaul or something. Nexus supports this, I think the launcher does as well.

    If you are removing so many, maybe it would have just been easier to use the separate vehicle mods and just add the ones you want?

    installed the vehicle pack on my server yesterday; can't get it to work. it shows blank spaces with corresponding labels where the vehicles should be in cm and i see nowhere to craft them. yes, i removed the extra folder. i've also reinstalled a couple times. advice welcomed. my friend REALLY wants the heli.

    Game logs. From the server and client. Server logs should be in its folder somewhere. Client ones you can get by hitting F1 and hitting the button on the top right. 

    before one of the updates the mod worked perfectly i went to generate a new world and got this exception ive tried a few things to resolve it but no luck i am novice to these things though here is what i pulled from the error log any help would be appreciated i hate only having vanilla vehicles in the game thank you in advance!

    Hey bdubyah,

    Myself (AngelacusGaming), DevilsKut and TechGeek_20 are creating a challenge mod called Aircraft Carrier Challenge Mod, very similar to the Dishong Tower challenge. We would very much like to use some of the military vehicles and the UH-60 in our mod and ask for your permission and blessing to do so. You will of course be credited within the notes on the 7D2D mod launcher, within the mod itself and wherever else appropriate.

    So I love playing The Wasteland (single player) and now at level 100 I can't find the Big Rocket anywhere.  I checked the forum and then checked the prefabs.xml (the one in the SavesLocal folder) and there's no Big Rocket.

    I really, really, really don't want to start a new game over at this point.  Is there a way to get one to spawn?

    Also, does not having a Big Rocket trader stop any progression or item creation or can the rest of the world supply everything?

    The trader and POI are just unique. As are the other Rad Cats in the POI, though you can potentially find them elsewhere. No other progression is reliant on him yet. 

    You can always go into the world editor and plop his POI down somewhere so you will have it. Just backup your world and save just in case. 

    Hello bdubyah.  About 6 months ago you gave me permission to use some of your vehicle blocks in my map mod.  I will be done with the entire hand crafted map in about a month or so and wanted to make sure you were still good with me using some of the vehicle blocks for my environment.  Giving you full credit of course.

    I do appreciate your reply its a server its hosted bt hosthavoc. i have other mods installed.. its installed on the server, tho i didnt install it locally on my own pc. is that what i need to do, same with every player in the server? it should download when they enter the server no with the other mods? thanks

    Hello and thanks for your time Bdubyah.  Do you happen to have any of the vehicle models for A21 that I can use as just blocks.  Unless I am missing something, I can't seem to be able to convert the drivable ones to just blocks with collision and loot.  I believe this can only be done in Unity?

    I can assign it a loot list just fine, but the drivable model will not act like a block, just non interactive decoration.

    I use your mod in my own games as it is very well done.  I am now in the process of making a very custom hand made map that will take me about 300-400 hours.  May I please use some of your vehicles in my map mod, giving you credit for the assets.  I am trying to use some of them as blocks, not driveable.  When I am finished, I will offer the map to the community.  Thanks

    hi  i see they add police car and the light are working on it when we force the lock (braking it )for the car  they are fonctional flashing with a alarm  you thing it can be added  on  your car  pack and exemple linked to the horn they start to flash with or  without  the alarm  it can be possible you think ?

    I am new to modding 7 days but I have used mods in other games, How do the vehicles effect the game when installed, are they just loot able or can you drive them about and use them.

    I have got an engine and checked the recipes and neither the humvee or mrap shows up I don't know if I am doing it wrong. 

    So to clarify I am adding it to my mod folder like I have with UI stuff which works but these 2 do not I don't know if I have done something wrong in the process of putting it to the game

    All I can figure is they aren't installed properly. Make sure the folder you moved into your Mods folder has the modinfo.xml inside it when you open it. If you have to open another folder to see it, you've got too many folders. Can also hit F1 when loading into a game and see if it shows they loaded or if there were errors. That's about all I can give you without a log or something.
