PS PS5 Discord Issue

I’m having an issue with the Discord integration in 7 Days to Die on PS5. When the feature was first introduced, I accidentally selected “Later” (or canceled the linking process), and the game created a Provisional Account instead of linking my real Discord account.

Now, whenever I open the Friends menu, it only shows this provisional account with my PSN name, and my friends see it as a “Provisional Account” with the message: “This 7 Days to Die user does not have a Discord account yet so some features may be limited.”

I have already unlinked and relinked Discord through my PS5 settings, but the game still uses the provisional account and never gives me the option to link my actual Discord account. Is it possible to reset or remove the provisional account from my 7 Days to Die profile so I can properly connect my real Discord account?

could you try to go to the game settings > Audio > Discord
There you should see a [Link Account] button that should request access to your real discord profile.

Hello Revi,

I tried looking and making sure I followed your instructions but I don’t see no “link account” or anything I’m still stuck with this Provisional Account that I can’t seem to log out off in 7 Days To Die, when I added my friend it just shows them an account I’ve never made before and I wanna connect my real account and I don’t see a log out or link option sadly :<

Thank you for reporting.
Unfortunately it is not possible to link the discord integration with real discord accounts on PS5, only Provisional accounts are allowed at this time. This is a restriction set up by Sony and is out of our control.
