A New Chapter for The Fun Pimps and 7 Days to Die

I hope we end up getting 100+ unique sandbox options and not just 15-20 of them with sliders for many/most of them. Like hey, there's an ammo abundance slider with 10 scaleable options, x10 and you have 100 sandbox options!
I think they said around 50, though that was an estimate early on and it may be very different now. And that's actual options. 10 options with 10 settings is still 10 options, not 100. So 50 or so different options, each with 2 to X choices.

Fair enough, good to hear. My point though was it could easily be advertised that (being hypothetical here) 10 options with 10 variants for each is "100 unique options", which technically wouldn't be wrong, just a little disappointing. :) I have high hopes anyway that it'll turn out to be a fantastic update. It's just that, you know, the more variety, the better. :)

There are already well over 100 unique options though, admittedly, some of them are already-existing options that are mixed in. But even some of those have been reworked for better customization. For example, Rage mode was baked into whatever difficulty you chose. But now rage chance is its own unique option that can be adjusted independently of other options. I've found that with the ability to combo different individual options even many of the options we already have in the game feel new and more interesting than they did before.

At any rate there aren't any shady economics going on for the number of options. It isn't just 10 unique options with 10 settings each for a technical claim of 100+. This update isn't going to just tide us over until bandits arrive. People will still be exploring and sharing new option combinations long after bandits are old news.

Nobody should consider them investors. People who can't understand the difference between purchasing and investing are always going to be disappointed by how things turn out...
I bearly know the difference aside from

Buying is... well Buying it to own and use

Investing is putting money on something to help fun and support and potentially get something back... I just wish the kick start was still up lmao 🤣

Decrease ammo spawns

Increase zombie spawns

In the traditional sense they're not investors, correct. They will not receive financial compensation for their initial investment.

They're still investors in the sense they've put money into uncertainty. They provided early capital, they took on real risk, and they funded ideas before they existed. Instead of receiving financial compensation for their investment they received a video game that their initial investment funded instead of some form of financial compensation.

Where would TFP be without the half million from the original investors today? They didn't buy a game, they invested their funds into a potential game they were interested in playing.

To say they weren’t investors is to say the people who gathered the resources didn’t help build the base.

He's pretending he's Jordan Peterson and investors are only those that receive financial compensation for their funds, as that's the definition.

Please no. Unless the UI will be completely overhauled this will create a 10+ page menu that maybe works on PC but will get annoying to navigate on console.

Well if you're starting a play through and want to customise all these things before you start a world I don't really see how it could be such a hassle for that purpose personally, although if you're one of those people that like to change the settings a million times each time ya start the world then sure but that can't be a major populace of players.

Almost everyone I've played with before which truth be told is probably nearing a couple hundred a this point barely change the settings in an already established game if at all, same goes for me.
