Not sure who "they" is, but it is true that TFP is finishing work on it and fixing any bugs or issues related to building the 2.6 update. That usually means it'll go into experimental within a week (possibly 2). It then usually stays in experimental for around 2 weeks before going to stable. So it's possible it'll be in stable by the end of February, but it might also be the beginning of March. They say 2.6 is coming out at the end of February - is that true?
Bug fixes, bug additions, and supposedly the Chicken CoopWhat will 2.6 have, anyone know?
They will be in 2.8 not 2.6I think i saw on reddit Joel talking about getting more game options and sliders to tweak the game play in soon...Maybe we will see some these in the next update? Doesn't seem to be much info on whats in this next update exactly.
And where can I see the information on the official game forum? They will be in 2.8 not 2.6
I'm guessing not. They aren't likely to add any of the new game options until they redo the game options UI. That's likely to include the UI and the new game options all at once in a single update rather than getting a few in the next update. But that's just my guess.I think i saw on reddit Joel talking about getting more game options and sliders to tweak the game play in soon...Maybe we will see some these in the next update? When it comes out, it comes out. I'm not really looking forward to version 2.6; I'm more interested in version 3.0. The bugs fixed in 2.6 won't have much of an impact on my gameplay, so there's no point in waiting for them to be fixed. They say 2.6 is coming out at the end of February - is that true?
Fatal has already said that he is not even in the plans.Bug fixes, bug additions, and supposedly the Chicken Coop
We're not getting Faatal in 2.6? Aww, man. When it comes out, it comes out. I'm not really looking forward to version 2.6; I'm more interested in version 3.0. The bugs fixed in 2.6 won't have much of an impact on my gameplay, so there's no point in waiting for them to be fixed.

Would like to think bandits, 8 person multiplayer and 10K maps on console would be 2.6. Would be kick a$$ to have for me!What will 2.6 have, anyone know?
Um... no? Bandits are 3.0. That isn't going to change. And console already had issues with performance with smaller maps, so you aren't likely to see 10k map support unless they eventually improve the performance enough for that, but that won't happen anytime soon, if ever.Would like to think bandits, 8 person multiplayer and 10K maps on console would be 2.6. I don't know how they'll ever increase performance sufficiently without making a large portion of those wide open POIs closed with interiors that don't render at all like other games. It's awesome that they're all open, so I think I'd prefer that to having larger map support were I on console, but of course, others' preferences might be different.Um... no? Bandits are 3.0. So you are a fan of the old fashioned slide shows, huh. I just bought the game forWould like to think bandits, 8 person multiplayer and 10K maps on console would be 2.6. Would be kick a$$ to have for me!
Actually, 8K maps have been amazing on PS5 when it comes to performance and have experienced very little lag as of late, thanks to the update fixes. I also have 1GB internet speed, so i'm sure that helps with some lag issues. Maybe not on PS5, but PS6 is said to get 30GB or more GDDR7 RAM, which will more than likely be enough to support 10K and maybe even 16K maps.Um... no? Bandits are 3.0. That isn't going to change. Plenty of people still complaining about console performance. But of course it's hard to take you serious with your username.Actually, 8K maps have been amazing on PS5 when it comes to performance and have experienced very little lag as of late, thanks to the update fixes. Uh, actually from my experience it does. When I had 70MB internet, my character would lag like crazy and would fall through the map a lot with friends in it. Now, after upgrading to 1GB internet, the game plays flawlessly with very little lag in the city area.Plenty of people still complaining about console performance. And no, your internet speed doesn't really matter that much for how the game runs, other than for people joining your game. Doesn't affect much else. I also doubt console will get bigger maps due to save sizes. You guys are already very limited with just 8k maps. 10k and up would make it so you can only have one save at a time. 16k maps aren't even officially supported anymore, IIRC.
Falling through the map is a network issue, yes. If you have a bad connection, you'll experience network problems. However, that's not the same as regular performance issues that are affecting console players (and even many PC players). Those issues affect players even when playing solo, where network speed has no real impact.Uh, actually from my experience it does.
