Console Pc and consoles are not equal

OMG. You REALLY dont know what a community forum IS. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
what real value do you think you are adding to this conversation? remember when there was a console only section of the forum before they updated?
I had to remind them to actually look and see there were problems and concerns going unaddressed...because no one was looking out for consoles. when there are console problems who addresses them? there should be someone...but there still isn't.
it seems like a lot of you react before you think...just because I said something.

I feel you have a misunderstanding of both what a moderator is and what a community forum is.
to me a moderator is someone who moderates the conversations...tries to keep things civil even when it gets heated...not someone who has strong opinions without any actual shareable knowledge.
a community forum is supposed to be a place where pros ans cons can be discussed...without being banned and censored just because THEY CAN.
not that rules should not be followed...they should...but banning someone for "doom and gloom"? not so much a forum as a fan club.

but banning someone for "doom and gloom"? not so much a forum as a fan club.
How exactly would you intend to be moderated by someone "trying to keep things civil", without getting banned? You accept no answer and keep pretending like your emotional inferences are reality.

it wasn't access to the site...it was the bug reporting...and the lack of any practical support people....but thanks for asking AFTER being a dick
I'm still being a dick, you just took a polarity shift in between. Neither of those are in any way specific to console. Nor really true, the "support" section has existed since a couple forum SWs ago already, not new with the launch of this one.

the moderator should not be in the argument. it's fine to ban people for language...it's not okay for them to be exerting strong opinions to kill the conversation.

what do you mean not specific to console? bug reporting for consoles needed to be revamped so that we could...and it took awhile. No one answering the problems and complaints in the old console section IS pretty specific to console. (still no one to help console specific questions now)
like I said...it's okay that you didn't know, why would you? you are not on console.

I don't specifically know what years you're referring to, but consider that for some time, even after getting back the legal rights to the game, The Fun Pimps weren't able to do public statements on THEIR new console version, or do support and things like that, because the new version wasn't ready yet and was still in development.

My understanding is that the previous version was left so far behind by Telltale, compared to the PC version, that it wasn't technically possible to support it anymore. So maybe what you experienced was that transition time necessary to re-align the two games? Just an educated guess.

Yea that console version was a blend of A14/A15 if I remember. I know we didn't have electricity yet but we at least had a minibike. At the time, the Community Manager, Claire, was pretty good at balancing things too, keeping people updated, delivering news.

what do you mean not specific to console? bug reporting for consoles
Bug reporting on this forum software has been an annoying nonsense to work with for everyone... couple different oddities isn't an issue worth wasting our time on. Definitely nothing to categorize as "the site is not ready for consoles" over.

As for no-one answering questions, it's a community forum - players speaking with players. If you want official support, contact official support, it's bipartisan support there. If they're tired of your nonsense in there, that's not a site issue, either.

what a wonderful way to avoid saying "yes...they did not have the site ready for console even though they knew they'd be returning"

there is no console community to speak of, I won't bother saying why, it will fall on deaf ears. It's mostly just randoms who don't normally come on here...they only came to the forum to get help.

and hey thanks for staying on theme today...assuming I have ever talked to official support...or annoyed them. you are a real Prince.

Just checked out the "console" input on the Series X. Looks like there is a limited amount of commands that can be executed. Tried entering "dm", it came back with, "yea right, nice try Console Master Race! "

Not sure where to find the complete list of available commands at but they are limited. You can teleport for sure.

Update: by just typing "help" in the console it displays a list of all commands available. Looks like there are about 20 - 25 commands available.

As I said, you have a misunderstanding of both.

So, you're here complaining about lack of support, without ever contacting them...? I'm not even surprised
are you being deliberately obtuse?
console gamers were posting in the console section and being ignored...console gamers could not report their bugs in a meaningful way for a long time after the game launched. I have not contacted support personally BECAUSE I PERSONALLY DID NOT NEED TO...does that mean I should ignore that other people were being ignored in the console section? did I have to suffer to see other people are? FFS act like a human being.
As I said, you have a misunderstanding of both.
yes it also includes community members helping community members...is that what you need to hear?
Is there a big console community on here? and any that are plugged in enough to answer technical questions? probably not eh?

most of them were just randoms looking for help...it's not like they would have had to help me.
I suspect the only reason either of you looked at this thread is because you saw I said something.

Likewise. You're rotating from one complaint to another, to another, to another. While merry-go-rounds are entertaining for a while, this ride reeks... "Some vague console players were unable to report their vague bugs, while other console players were able to report bugs, but got ignored while I have no idea what happened because I never asked for any support and won't take an answer at face value anyway, and got banned while trying to get support but I wasn't trying to get support in the first place as the site wasn't even ready for a console player like me" ... that's a short description of what I've gotten from you, does that read .. reasonable?

A community forum is not tech/game support. Once again you are showing you don't know what a community forum is. Same with moderators you seem to confuse with debate moderators.

I suspect you haven't actually read the thread because you would know I was the first person to reply to it so maybe you only looked at this thread because I said something.

A moderator’s job is to insure that posts comply with the forum rules, and to a lesser extent help with forum issues: like if the forum’s not working for someone, or if someone needs their thread moved or edited. Moderators are also people interested in the game. To accommodate this duality, they’re allowed to take off their moderator hat and talk about the game in the same way regular users do. They can have strong opinions and attempt to argue with the best of them. Moderators have a duty to A) be clear when they’re speaking as a moderator (as I’m doing in this post); and B) not use their status to advantage themselves when they’re ‘off duty,’ a la “I’m right about LBD, and anyone who disagrees gets banned!"

With that established, this will not be a thread to discuss the moderation of the forum. That means how the forum is moderated, who is a moderator, what actions they can or do take as moderator, and what the forum rules allow or disallow are all not up for public discussion. As a reminder, the topic at hand is inequalities between consoles and PC.
