Console Pc and consoles are not equal

Barring certification issues, PC and consoles get the stable versions at the same time.

Consoles don't get experimentals, but that was said ever since the console return was announced.
 
Consoles are rarely ever equal to PCs. Mods are normally not available on consoles, consoles have limited hardware compared to what PCs can have, updates have to be approved by the consoles before they make them available and so are later than PC (Microsoft is the worst with this, but that's outside of TFP's hands), consoles don't get experimental because of Sony/Microsoft, some things like certain console commands aren't allowed by Sony/Microsoft, you're limited in save space, etc. That's a fact of life that console players need to accept. And I think most do. It sucks for console players, but TFP can't do anything about that. Complain to Microsoft or Sony, though you won't get very far by doing so.

You really don't get it. A moderator just decides whether a post is appropriate according to forum rules. What you want is some expert player and regular forum user who knows much about console because he is playing on one and has the time and inclination to help other players. He doesn't need to be moderator for that at all.

No. Moderators are selected for being here very often, sure, but their knowledge of the game is totally irrelevant. They need to be even-tempered, cool-headed, as far from emotional as possible. The ones selecting them usually observe them for some time and then invite them and hope they didn't make a mistake. Often moderators and lets call them helpers coincide in the same person but that is not a requirement.

why not? they knew we were coming back
why don't they have someone to address console problems?

of course someone else can chime in IF they know something....and you'd have to take the word of a random...maybe they know maybe they don't.

What you are asking for is a TFP employee, lets call him community manager, that is here to answer questions and represent TFP, something the PC side never had (to my knowledge)!
Only the console side had one because Telltale had hired one. If someone knows of any on the PC side from before my time, please correct me.

Different companies with different ways to handle this.

Yes. The site is a text forum. If you have a console issue, you might have to find a keyboard somewhere to type with, but any console issue can be described in text just as much as for PC. The site is fine.

You're asking for reps, and in that I defer to meganoth above; I thought neither PC nor console have had any formal reps ever, but it sounds like consoles had one at some point.

If you're demanding something, at least demand the right thing, in case anyone cares. You don't think they do, in fact it seems, you "know" they don't, so why are you screaming? Nothing's going to change :P
 
Actually I don't mind helping out at all when I can. Microsoft use to have, maybe still does, a program called Xbox Ambassadors, made up entirely of community members willing to help out. I use to be a part of that program so helping out here when I can just comes naturally for me. Kinda helps that I luv the game too. 😉

I feel you have a misunderstanding of both what a moderator is and what a community forum is.

Its never going to be equal, get a PC and stop crying about it. PC also has mods, way better performance, better visuals, etc. Console is never going to match up, its just the way it is when a game like this goes on consoles. I honestly would have prefered 7dtd never went on consoles as I bet thats the main reason why the game has gotten so dumbed down over the years.
