A lot of stuff was merged from trunk to 2.5 this week with more to go.

I see that they put out a official 7 days to die post congratulating themselves for 2.5...before even announcing when 2.5 exp is actually dropping. Considering that they don't have it ready to go yet, It seems like a really poorly thought out post. They, of all people, should know that time has a way of slipping on them.

They did say "coming very soon".

You have to admit, that have to feel a little bit of relief. Thinking back I don't remember
this much being done in this short a span of time, and with very little feature creep. Never
have so many, owed so much to so few.

Now that the pleasantries have been said.

Speaking of dropping.
Definite quick ai pic, and me being me, the first
thing that I saw was that unless there is an invisible
handle on the back of that mason jar. Or Rekt is doing
the drukard's pinky that jar should be on the floor.

Perhaps. bayonet mod for rifles to give them some close-up umf when you cant reload in time, use like a spear (when unloaded)

Sorry, but, bandits were "coming soon" in 2016...just saying time has a habit of getting away from them.

So you want more communication, but when they make a post saying the update is coming soon it isn't good enough for you? I honestly don't think there's anything TFP could do to keep you from whining. Your goalposts never stop moving, do they?

How is it premature though? Faatal said a few more days, probably early-mid next week it seems, and they make a post on a Friday saying it's coming soon. I don't understand your logic.

I wish there was an option to reload your melee weapon.
It'd make my muscle memory less silly.
Even a dumb little flourish animation.
Make my 'R' addiction worth something!

faatal said several days...if he had said a few days I would not have bothered to say anything at all. a few days is hopeful. but, he sounded a little apprehensive about how much is left to be done and then tested before 2.5 is actually ready. Whoever posted that, IMO, just put undue pressure on the working devs that everything is going to go perfectly, and it will ready "very soon".
Just to be clear, I do think 2.5 exp will go out before TFP go on their xmas vacation time, I just don't think there will be time for the stable version to release until after xmas. That's going to make a lot of console gamers kind of butthurt. So taking all that together...THAT's why I think that their post was premature.
